Fire, afterall, burns trees. Clearly Glomdoring should enemy the whole of Gaudi because of that, yes?
It's less "Fire" and more specifically "Gaudiguch's elemental fire", because the latter can and has actually burnt a forest in half, near, permanently while the former is generally healthy for nature and an important part of it.

    :P

But yeah, the more extremist Serens would (IMO) fully advocate the complete destruction of every city so they can then spend the rest of their lives dedicated to reversing the destruction of nature that "civilisation" caused through their actions, until everyone is living like Na'vi on Pandora.

Like Saran said. Gaudiguch had (and presumably still does have) access to a form of elemental fire that not only burnt a scar through the forest, it prevented that part of the forest from ever regrowing, and it took centuries and super-powerful Elder God magic to even just grow a couple of bridges over the scar (which is now the Alabaster Road).

So why are we still allowing them to exist? :P

Because we could always dig it back up if we have do.

It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
  • Ideally if Glom actually tried it they wouldn't be able to, because the strength of the forest has been reinforced by the eye of Dylara (oh and that Dynara person too).

Of course, we also have shamanism now, I assume that we fight fire with spiritually empowered rain and snow and the like now.

Yeah, you should totally go use that fire stuff on Glomdoring instead. /forumrp

But not the Eye of Dylara. You're still good.
