What do you mean? The information on the trade skill pages should be up to date.
I remembered to catch Enadonella IG to ask her about this - and she was referring to white tea vs black tea buffs, plus maybe beer. Which I noted were in the Brewmeister skills most likely. But one thing we don't have, which would fall in the "drink" category might be Argleblaster and that sort of thing?

Basically the different types of drinks/liquids available, their bonuses, how long they last, and how to use them.

Honestly wouldn't mind a 'down the road' project wherein we have a ginormous series of tables that lists off every available buff sorted by max/buff weight (ie: buffs weighted 1/5 are shown before 2/5 but after 2/3 buffs.) just so we know what's available. Might help less experienced players contribute to balance discussions, or decide where to invest credits.
  • EnyalidaEnyalida Nasty Woman Member Posts: 4,384 Transcendent
Those tables exist already, though it might be a pain to convert them to wikitext.

If someone wants to make a stab, I'll dig up a link to the doc used when the buffs were converted, I'll edit it into this post.

    Hello @admins @everyone!

I would like to express my intent to help update the Wiki as a volunteer. Not sure who to ask among the admins in general, so I posted here to generate interest from the community as a whole! Let the OCD updating begin!

    Hi!

The following small updates have been made to the Wiki:

    * corrected Thalrinda's circle (Uncircled -> Fourth)
    * added small balance info on Night Scourge
    * added lions to beasts
    * linked various innate beast skills to the Beastmastery AB

At the moment, I'd like to ask for help gathering information for:
    * Gryphon inherent
    * Squonkabonk inherents
    * Wildewood ABs

    Thanks!

Wildewood You are one with the Wildes.

Treetrunk Your trunk is your base, from which all things grow.

Bluebell The sweetest of bluebells remember the Wilde to the last.

Iron The bark of the ironwood proves to be bluntly effective.

Hornedlily Even in the beautiful Wildes can flowers lull and disarm.

Knobbled Notched and knobbled wood proves more likely to crack bone.

AutumnalSurge Speed up the seasons around a single tree.

Evergreen The bark of an evergreen aids against toxins and infection.

Moonhart 'One with the Wilde and the trees.' - Wisdom Strongleaf.

Moontear These teardrop leaves remember the sad tale of the Moon.

Flurry Send your spores into a flurry of activity.

Bluehorn Beware the foggy bluehorn clouds that wax in the Moon.

Garland Flower garlands are precious to the centaur of the Seren.

Hartpine Beware the foggy hartpine clouds that agitate the mind.

    WILDEWOOD - WILDEWOOD

You have shed your previous form and become one with the Wildes, one of

    the mighty Wildewood.

    Syntax: BARKTOUCH <target>

    Damage Type: 100% Magic

As a Wildewood, you have the ability to turn an opponent's flesh into

    bark.

    WILDEWOOD - TREETRUNK

    Syntax: TREETRUNK CREATE

    TREETRUNK STATUS

    TREETRUNK TRANSMUTE [#] TO <sap>

    TREETRUNK RELEASE # <sap>

Power: 10 (Moonhart Mother Tree) (to create)

    Outlay: wood 50 (to create)

    silveressence 1 (to transmute)

The treetrunk forms the basis of the natural art of Wildewood, storing

sticky sap transmuted from silver essence. A single piece of essence can

be manipulated to create 5 globules of sap, and your trunk can hold up

to 2000 globs at any time and you may release sap to make room for other

    types.

    WILDEWOOD - BLUEBELL

    Syntax: WILDEWOOD GROW BLUEBELL

    WILDEWOOD WITHER BLUEBELL

    WILDEWOOD FOCUS [<target>|NOBODY]

    WILDEWOOD STATUS

    WILDEWOOD CONCENTRATE

By growing bluebell flowers within your boughs, you can release their

spores upon your victim. The spores will continue to spread for one

Lusternian day. When focused upon someone, they will either be blinded

    or surrounded by luminous lights.

Concentrating on your flowers will cause them to release their spores at

    the same time.

    WILDEWOOD - IRON

    Syntax: WILDEWOOD BARK IRON

    Outlay: wood 10 bluebell 100

    Damage Modifier: 1/8 blunt increase

By creating an inner sheath of iron-like bark, you can increase the

damage of any of your blunt attacks. This bark will last fifty months.

    WILDEWOOD - HORNEDLILY

    Syntax: WILDEWOOD GROW HORNEDLILY

    WILDEWOOD WITHER HORNEDLILY

    WILDEWOOD FOCUS [<target>|NOBODY]

    WILDEWOOD STATUS

By growing horned lilies within your boughs, you can release their

spores upon your victim. The spores will continue to spread for one

Lusternian day. When focused upon someone, they will cause the person's

    limbs to wither and break.

    WILDEWOOD - KNOBBLED

    Syntax: WILDEWOOD GROW KNOBBLED BRANCHES

    Outlay: wood 10 hornedlily 100

Knobbled branches have a small chance of lashing out whenever you are

struck and breaking the limbs of those who attack you. These branches

    last fifty months.

    WILDEWOOD - AUTUMNALSURGE

    Syntax: WILDEWOOD SURGE <tree>

By speeding the flow of seasons around a particular tree, you can

gracefully bring about the end of its cycles so that other trees nearby

can take its place. The rich sap of the tree will be left behind, while

all other nutrients will be absorbed by the soil.

    WILDEWOOD - EVERGREEN

    Syntax: WILDEWOOD BARK EVERGREEN

    Outlay: wood 25 bluebell 100 hornedlily 100

    Damage Modifier: 2/8 poison resistance

By covering yourself in evergreen bark, you can guard against terrible

poisons. This bark will last fifty months.

    WILDEWOOD - MOONHART

    Syntax: WILDEWOOD BARK MOONHART

    BARKGUARD <tree>

    Outlay: wood 25 bluebell 100 hornedlily 100

By covering yourself in moonhart bark, you will learn how to protect

other trees from the terrible actions of outsiders. You can guard up to

ten non-elder commune trees per month from being chopped down. The

protection will last until the tree reaches its next stage of growth, or

for elders it will last approximately two years. You can guard any

number of elders each month. This bark will last fifty months.

    WILDEWOOD - MOONTEAR

    Syntax: WILDEWOOD GROW MOONTEAR

    WILDEWOOD WITHER MOONTEAR

    WILDEWOOD FOCUS [<target>|NOBODY]

    WILDEWOOD STATUS

By growing moontear flowers within your boughs, you can release their

spores upon your victim. The spores will continue to spread for one

Lusternian day. When focused upon someone, they will cause the skull to

    cave in.

    WILDEWOOD - FLURRY

    Syntax: WILDEWOOD FLURRY [ON|OFF]

By urging your spores to flurry wildly, you will impede your focused

target's attempts to leave, slowing them proportionate to the number of

    spores you are currently producing.

    WILDEWOOD - BLUEHORN

    Syntax: WILDEWOOD SPORE BLUEHORN

    Power: 5 (Moonhart Mother)

Damage Type: 50% blunt 50% magic

This spore requires bluebell and hornedlily flowers to be grown upon you

and will consume them all in the process. The spores are extremely

painful to your enemies and will cause them to succumb to an extremely

dangerous one-off mental drain and attack of asthma. Your enemy's

movements will be greatly hindered while the effect is growing.

    WILDEWOOD - GARLAND

    Syntax: TREELIMB GARLAND

    TREELIMB SPRAY <target> [<direction>]

Power: 10 (Moonhart Mother) (to create)

    Outlay: wood 50 bluebell 100 hornedlily 100 moontear 100

Damage Type: 50% blunt 50% magic

Can Target Denizens (in room only)

A decorative garland can be tied around some of your branches to create

a devastating weapon, allowing you to attack a nearby or distant foe

    with a spray of acorns.

    WILDEWOOD - HARTPINE

    Syntax: WILDEWOOD SPORE HARTPINE

    Power: 5 (Moonhart Mother)

Damage Type: 50% poison 50% cutting

    That's all I got.

I'm pretty sure every skillset is now on the wiki in some form, though some still need my ol' fine toothed comb approach. There's still a lot of behind the scenes stuff to slog through, bu t it's really slow gowing. Partially because it's tedious and partially because there isn't any immediate functional benefit and little discernible user-side effect, so it's hard to motivate.

Once it's done it'll be a lot easier for me to guess when AB changes occur based on changelogs or announces and quickly adjust the wiki to match (and then ABBUG so that the real AB matches correctly too :P).

Knowledge is enough motivation for me. ;)

Does deepdreams let you use the Interpetations ressistance buffs as well? Or just the two listed under it?

Yes, it allows all of the previous ones. I'll add a note to make it clear.
    Achieving DeepDreams allows:
    -Choosing which dream comes
    -Interpreting dreams when awake
    -Two additional types of dream.

I'll get those new ABs from envoy reports up by the end of (my) day - so not the weave, but somewhat after! Going to  be trying to keep up with the changes, which also prompt me to update skillset pages that are lagging behind, so yay.

Some races don't have a page in the wiki. Also, maybe it would be helpful to give some more infos on them on the wiki (like average heights/sizes/etc. etc.)
  • EnyalidaEnyalida Nasty Woman Member Posts: 4,384 Transcendent
The info about heights and sizes isn't included because it doesn't exist, unfortunatly.

Are there no logs at all of what the race files said pre-racial-overhaul?  Those all had sizes in them.  It would be nice to put the info directly back into the game, but should at least be able to use that for a rough guide.

They had sizes, but what that means in terms of what the average height and weight/size of each race means was (purposefully?) never really clarified, was it?
  • MaligornMaligorn Windborne Member Posts: 2,670 Transcendent
The rule of thumb was 1 point in size = 6 inches. So size 12 humans would be, on average, 6 ft tall. That's what I go with, anyway.

Yeah, it was.  The general rule of thumb was a half-foot per point of size (making an "average," of course, with room for variation up and down), with a few exceptions (elfen were a bit taller than their size stat would indicate, but swapped that for a much more thin physique).  But generally, you could just go with the half-foot-per-size.

That was per Estarra, IIRC, including the Elfen thing.
