Lisaera's Love Story

You tell Lisaera, the Silver Goddess, "Greetings my Lady."

The Divine voice of Lisaera, the Silver Goddess echoes in your head,
"Tidings, little one. How do you fare?"
You tell Lisaera, the Silver Goddess, "I woke to feel as you did, it was
quite the blessing to do so. I wondered if You might allow for me to
sketch You, and if it is not too much to ask, if I may sculpt a statue
of You within the Moondancer's guildhall or the commune itself?"

The Divine voice of Lisaera, the Silver Goddess echoes in your head,
"Certainly, My child, if it will please the coven of My daughter."

The howling cry of an ethereal wind evanesces from nothing, blooming
into a blaze of cold moonfire. The flames shift and expand, solidifying
into the form of Lisaera, the Silver Goddess.

Lisaera smiles softly at you.

In a gallant display of proper conduct, you kneel and greet Lisaera with
a kiss upon the hand.

Lisaera reaches out to tenderly cup your cheek in Her hand.

Shocked a little, her eyes sparling with amusement, you say, "Uhhh, Lady
Lisaera, You are...uh...in my manse."

Happily, you say, "Welcome."

Lisaera lifts Her gaze and allows it to sweep the area. A smile twists
into Her features, and She nods.

With a mother's gentleness, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "You have
a lovely home, little one."

Humbly, you say, "Thank You. I find solace here at times, when I am
overwhelmed by the noise in the commune."

Preparing to sketch, you say, "Are You ready?"

Lisaera nods Her head at you.

Enadonella smiles softly and begins to sketch, making
sure to capture all the brilliance that is You.

Pausing briefly, you ask, "Would You prefer me to sculpt the statue from
sketches or, would You stand for me as I worked?"

Softly, Her hands folded neatly in front of Her, Lisaera, the Silver
Goddess says to you, "I would allow you the time you might need to
capture the image you're hoping for."

Almost in a whisper, you ask Lisaera, "Do You have a particular space
you enjoy most within the commune?"

Lisaera pauses for a moment in reflection, Her storm-coloured eyes a
mask of thoughts and memories.

Softly, Her eyes meeting yours again, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says
to you, "I consider the whole forest to be the throne of My memories,
little one. Elfenehoalla and I toured every inch of the Serenwilde - We
loved it all. What is your favorite location?"

Without hesitation she smiles and excitedly, you say, "The pond, near
Abeytu. Although I am drawn to the night gardens with my guildhall."

Smiling, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "Show Me?"

Her hand reaching out for yours, you say, "Of course. It would be my
pleasure."

Lisaera places Her hand in yours and nods.

You smile happily.

*leads Her to the small pool near Abeytu*

Shyly, you say, "I often watch the lily as I contemplate life."

Lisaera closes Her eyes and inhales slowly, Her chest rising with the
breath and falling slowly as She exhales.

Opening Her eyes and looking around, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says,
"What memories. This is the very place where I met My lover, long ago."

Gesturing to the willow tree, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "Beneath
the canopy of this tree."

Enadonella glances to the tree, then back to Lisaera,
hope evident in her eyes she whispers, "Would You tell me more of Your
meeting?"

Lisaera's eyes glimmer with a maiden's wistful life and She nods once.
As if to collect Her memories, She walks in a slow circle, every step
taking Her closer to the tree's trunk. Resting Her hand against the
trunk, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "It was a summer's night. Isune
had just painted a beautiful sunset, and I was admiring the sky with
Elfey.

She laughed openly and pointed to a family of Viravain's swans, swimming
merrily through the pond, and We blessed them with love everlasting."

Wistfully, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "We were both in love
Ourselves, and We thought it would be kind to share this feeling with
one of Our Cousin's creations."

Enadonella watches Lisaera, listening intently while
mindlessly laying out the tools and resources needed for the statue

Continuing, Her voice low and full, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says,
"As the evening wore on, Elfenehoalla adjourned from our little respite
to another gathering. I stayed behind to watch over the swans, My hands
molding and shaping the details of their lives."

Exhaling softly, Her storm-coloured eyes fading to a light grey,
Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "That was when He stepped out of the
shadows."

Enadonella's eyes light up with excitement.

Softly, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "He called My name, and I
turned, surprised, as I always was, by His appearance."

Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "He reached out a hand and took Mine,
pulling Me to My feet. He pushed My bangs away from My eyes - My hair
was always free of this braid back then - and pulled Me close to Him. He
whispered in My ear, 'What are these, My darling?' and pointed to the
swans."

Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "I smiled and told Him they were My
newest project. I wished for them to have the same love that I shared
for Him, and that I blessed them with everlasting contentment for one
another."

Her eyes shifting to a darker grey as She continues, Lisaera, the Silver
Goddess says, "He laughed at Me then and nodded, still holding My hand.
We sat against the willow tree and shared Our secrets with one another,
watching as Spirit Night engulfed the
Basin of Life with her cloak."

Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "He held My hand to His lips and asked
Me when I would finish the initiation. I told Him that I was afraid, but
that I would follow Him, no matter what."

Her voice low, Her eyes crackling with moonfire, Lisaera, the Silver
Goddess says, "It was then that I realized My beloved, My darling Fain,
would force Me to go through with His planning. That the love I blessed
the swans with was unkind, because it could never last."

Enadonella's eyes mist as she knows all too well the heartache of loving
another this way.

Silver tears in Her eyes that never spill, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess
says, "The memories are not terrible, little one. They are important. It
is wise to remember them, to hold them close to your heart."

Softly, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "They shape us. We are made
more powerful by our experiences, and the fires of love are like molten
ore. Walk into and allow it to overwhelm you, until you're breathless,
and if you are burned, let yourself heal and look fondly on the scars."

Wiping away Her eyes, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "And know that
others stand where you stand."

A single tear rolling down her cheek, you whisper, "I find myself taking
comfort in this. Thank You."

Lisaera leans close to you and gently lays a kiss upon your forehead.

Romaan tells you, "Give her my best. She is a wonderful Lady."

Romaan tells you, "Give Her, that is."

Eyes glimmering with a mother's gentleness, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess
says, "Tell Romaan he is kind for offering Me his best."

You tell Sir Romaan Hartfire of the Armies of Light, "She has said to
pass on that you are kind for offering Her your best."

You smile broadly and say, "He has been keeping me safe for years."

Lisaera's mouth turns up as Her face breaks into a smile.

You say, "I owe much of what I have now to our alliance with New
Celest."

Romaan tells you, "Of all the Elder gods still alive, She is my second
favorite....shhh!"

You chuckle long and heartily.

Lisaera's eyes sparkle with amusement.

Romaan tells you, "Lady Even Bladed will always be first, alive, awake,
or not."

You tell Sir Romaan Hartfire of the Armies of Light, "I appreciate your
loyalty for it matches my own."

Inclining Her head, an air of mirth in Her voice, Lisaera, the Silver
Goddess says, "Terentia is a potent Goddess. She is a dear friend, even
now."

You smile softly.

You say, "It is wonderful to have friends, even with the many
differences that can create conflict at times."

Lisaera nods Her head in agreement.

Romaan tells you, "Remind me I need to reforge my bashing weapons soon!"

You tell Sir Romaan Hartfire of the Armies of Light, "You need to
reforge bashing weapons soon."

Softly, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "I will return to you shortly,
My child."

Lisaera reaches out to tenderly cup your cheek in Her hand.

Blinking slowly, a silver firefly drifts in from the northwest.

You say, "I shall wait."

Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "For now, be well, and go in wisdom."

You embrace yourself with ardour.

You embrace Lisaera with great ardour.

The silhouette of the Silver Goddess ignites with shimmering moonfire,
Her presence wholly consumed by the cold blaze that winks out of
existence like motes of burning starlight.

Romaan tells you, "Such a comedian."

Momma V created the swans. :>

These story hooks are always nice. Lisaera-Fain will always be a classic. Thanks for sharing!
Viravain, Lady of the Thorns shouts, "And You would seize Me? Fool! I am the Glomdoring! I am the Wyrd, and beneath the cloak of Night, the shadows of the Silent stir!"

  • Most welcome.
  • That was awesome! I love how much lore and history there is in Lusternia, even in the little details like the swans. It makes everything feel so real and rich.
  • Yeah, I certainly miss this aspect of the game a lot. Most of these encounters happened at 5am for me. But well worth every all nighter I ever pulled. If Seren should ever lose Lis, it will be an incredibly sad thing.
