Update the Midbie
Hello. I'm going to go through the news, but is there anything I need to know ASAP if I were considering coming back as a midbie Serenwilder? Feel like I've been out of it for longer than a real-life year. Areas of interest: Serenwilde, Moondancers (and associated skills), newbie collegium (what's this about guild covenants?), Fae, Faethorn, Glomdoring, village revolts, afflictions, cures, maybe shopkeeping. I read something about herbs decaying outside of rifts (even in stockrooms) now?

There's nothing really urgent. I'm not sure if you were around for the introduction of the liquid rift, but that's one of the great changes for the better.
Politics changed, Serenwilde still opposes Glomdoring, so in the end it's just the same main opponent with a different supporting cast.
Quest-fae now decay.
There are new skillsets, but no real new afflictions (mostly just leveraging the afflictions we've already got).
On the whole, you can probably just ease yourself back into it. I'm sure there are a lot of people who'd like to see you back!

Herbs decay outside of rifts, but not on shoproom floors, if I'm not wrong. (There is now a limit on the number of items that can be put in a shoproom floor, though. If you have more than the limit, ALL items in that shoproom will start decaying until the number of items drop below the limit again.)
