The Wedding of Allyrianne and Portius Windwhisper

ZyphoraZyphora :: the sun in her splendour ::
(Hallifax): Isune says, "If any wish to attend the wedding of Portius and
Allyrianne, please arrive at the Conservatory promptly."

You see the following people here:
Liwase, Phoebus, Vivet, Entrias, Ollie, Portius, Allyrianne, Zyphora

Execumatrix Magnificus Portius Windwhisper, Lord-Librarian of Hallifax says, "So
glad that you could come, comrades."

Motes of gentle, clear light blink into life, gradually coalescing into the form
of Isune.

Portius kneels and raises his hands and then sinks low to the ground before
Isune, dealing obeisance.

Phoebus bows respectfully to Isune.

You kneel before Isune, swearing your allegiance to Her.

Liwase curtseys gracefully before Isune.

Allyrianne kneels before Isune, swearing her allegiance to Her.

Vivet bows respectfully to Isune.

Isune leans close to Portius and gently lays a kiss upon his forehead.

Liwase looks about herself, rubbing her chin thoughtfully.

Isune, the Aesthete smiles and says, "Are we all gathered, then?"

A willowy figure resplendent in white dove plumage nods its head emphatically.

Execumatrix Magnificus Portius Windwhisper, Lord-Librarian of Hallifax says, "I
believe so. The primary participants, at least."

Isune's eyes sparkle with amusement at Vivet.

Allyrianne nods her head in agreement.

Isune, the Aesthete says, "Perhaps a more appropriate venue should be conducted."

Isune drops a folded gossamer canopy.
As the canopy flutters to the ground, three rods of rose quartz arc up to catch
the wispy gossamer, unfurling in undulating waves of rippling colour and silken
starlight to shade a crystal dais.

Symphonist Allyrianne, Aethereal Melody lets out a soft "oh" as she looks at the
canopy.

Entrias beams broadly.

Entrias bows respectfully to Isune.

Isune, the Aesthete says, "We celebrate the union of Portius and Allyrianne."
As Isune speaks, the vicinity is flooded with the sublime beauty of the aurora,
which illuminates her and arcs languidly though the air to include Portius and
Allyrianne in a corona of indigo, lavender, and champagne light.

Isune, the Aesthete says, "My Weaver of the Aurora, I can praise you in many
ways. I can extol how you have brought the city of Hallifax to its rightful
place as the Cultural Centre, or perhaps how you have unified My Order's
Assembly, but today I congratulate you on your choice of this lovely woman,
Allyrianne, as your wife."

Execumatrix Magnificus Portius Windwhisper, Lord-Librarian of Hallifax allows
himself a slight smile.

Isune, the Aesthete says, "Let us bear witness to the vow of Portius."
Motes of errant sunlight gather close to Portius as though attending to his
every word.

Entrias shuffles over to you and shyly takes your hand in his own.

Execumatrix Magnificus Portius Windwhisper, Lord-Librarian of Hallifax says, "As
a man of science, I had studied the mysteries of the world and I have sworm
myself to serve the truth, swearing to speak no lies. Know that when I swear to
love you through all of time, and across all of space, that I know precisely
what I swear and that I do so without any hint of exaggeration. I so swear,
Allyrianne. Such is my vow, and may the Lady strike me down if I break it."

Isune, the Aesthete says, "Allyrianne, do you accept this vow?"

Her cheeks faintly tinged with pink, Symphonist Allyrianne, Aethereal Melody
says, "I do."

The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across Isune's lips.

Isune, the Aesthete says, "Let us bear witness to the vow of Allyrianne."
Motes of errant sunlight gather close to Allyrianne as though attending to her
every word.

Symphonist Allyrianne, Aethereal Melody says, "Portius, I give to you the song
of my heart. I swear ever to seek Beauty with you, to show you Compassion, and
to Sacrifice my all for you. I will strive always to inspire the higher emotions
in each of us, and I swear to love you always. Such is my vow, and may the Lady
strike me down if I break it."

Isune, the Aesthete says to Portius, "Do you accept Allyrianne's vow?"

Execumatrix Magnificus Portius Windwhisper, Lord-Librarian of Hallifax says, "I
do."

Isune, the Aesthete smiles and says, "Then by the power vested in Me, by Me, let
you be joined as one like the many colours of the sky, intertwining so that they
can no longer be severed in their union."

With a wistful look on his face, Portius touches a canopy of cloud gossamer and
silken starlight.
At Portius's fingertips, a streamer of incandescent white colour streaks across
the canopy's panorama of the sky, bathing him in prismatic light.

With a wistful look on her face, Allyrianne touches a canopy of cloud gossamer
and silken starlight.
At Allyrianne's fingertips, a streamer of midnight indigo colour streaks across
the canopy's panorama of the sky, bathing her in prismatic light.

Suddenly, the flickering lights shift in hue, brightening to the exuberant pinks
and golds of the early dawn to herald the start of Portius and Allyrianne's new
life together.

Ollie gives up a round of applause.

Phoebus's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.

Isune, the Aesthete smiles and says, "You may kiss your bride."

Execumatrix Magnificus Portius Windwhisper, Lord-Librarian of Hallifax says,
"With great pleasure, Lady."

Portius kisses Allyrianne passionately.

Smiling, Isune pulls upon the golden tassels of the canopy to shroud Portius and
Allyrianne from sight. All at once, a flock of elegant swans cries out overhead
in joyous celebration, their talons releasing a blanket of white rose petals
upon those gathered before departing skyward. The canopy's curtain parts to
shower the couple in the flurry of blossoms, flush with delight as Isune
declares them finally wed!

Vivet gives up a round of applause.

You clap your hands together merrily.

Allyrianne beams broadly at Portius.

Phoebus applauds Portius heartily.

Entrias applauds Portius heartily.

Isune, the Aesthete smiles and says, "May your marriage be blissful, dear ones."

Entrias applauds Allyrianne heartily.

Portius grins mischievously at Allyrianne.

(House Windwhisper): Phoebus says, "Welcome to the family."

You smile and say, "Congratulations, dear Portius and Allyrianne. May your years
together be long and overflowing with joy and prosperity."

(House Windwhisper): Allyrianne says, "Thank you."

Phoebus Windwhisper says to Allyrianne, "Well, I already gave Portius his
wedding gift. But you wouldn't happen to want any beasts, would you?"

Isune, the Aesthete retrieves a fragrant skybloom from Her headfeathers, eyes
alight.

Allyrianne flashes you a joyous smile.

Isune, the Aesthete says to Allyrianne, "For the lovely bride."

Isune gives a fragrant lavender skybloom to Symphonist Allyrianne, Aethereal
Melody.

Execumatrix Magnificus Portius Windwhisper, Lord-Librarian of Hallifax says to
you, "Thank you, cousin. I'm look forward to centuries of marital bliss."

Symphonist Allyrianne, Aethereal Melody says to Phoebus, "Beasts?"

Your mouth turns up as your face breaks into a smile.

Phoebus Windwhisper says, "You know, beasts. I've got a lot of them."

Phoebus Windwhisper says, "Some rather rare ones, at that, which I need to find
homes for."

Tucking the bloom amongst her headfeathers, Symphonist Allyrianne, Aethereal
Melody says to Isune, "Thank you, Lady."

Allyrianne slips into a fragrant lavender skybloom.

Isune, the Aesthete says, "I believe I shall take My leave, and allow this
moment to be enjoyed with mortal companions. Congratulations again, dears."

Isune leans close to Allyrianne and gently lays a kiss upon her forehead.

Isune's form shatters into a flock of colourful birds, their tiny forms tracing
circles in the air before darting away.

The canopy shrinks as the three quartz rods diminish before your eyes, letting
the awning collapse in a folded heap of gossamer and silk on the ground.

She is a feathered warbling trill and is tall and streamlined in build. Her
fingers are long and delicate, although tipped with calluses, and her
fingernails are clean but shorter on the left hand than on the right. Her
complexion is even, if a bit darker than would be considered truly elegant.
Large soft brown eyes are set on either side of an aquiline nose, beneath dark
brown feathery brows. A pair of wings a soothing pale brown sprout from her
shoulders, swept backwards and kept at rest, the barred plummage smooth and
glossy. She is wearing a teardrop pendulum of starlit quartz, an avian wedding
band of morning-gold filigree, sapphire blue high heels, a diamond-studded veil
of the night sky and a jewel-blue satin gown embroidered with ebon nightingales.
She walks with the truefavour of Isune.

You look at a jewel-blue satin gown embroidered with ebon nightingales that
    Allyrianne is wearing:
The deep and vivid jewel-blue of eventide skies, of the fleeting seconds
when the sun disappears just over the horizon, this formal ballroom gown
cascades in softly draping folds to the ground. An off-shoulder neckline
displays the delicate contours of the decolletage, dipping modestly at
the centre to cradle a silver-set bijou of dark sapphire, its
unadulterated midnight hue verging upon black. Only the faint strains of
morning's light illumine the gemstone's depths to such degree that it
pales to the azure of evening. Of iridescent make, the gown itself
shimmers lustrously, evocative of endless, star-swept nights.
Embroidered as though in the midst of migration, countless ebon
nightingales soar freely across the jewel-blue expanse at the hem,
sweeping upwards to the left side of the waist; their dark, silvered
threads interrupt the glimmering backdrop in subtle manifestations of
starlit shadow. The bodice tapers to a basque waist before flaring again
into gathered skirts; underlain by frothy organza of midnight hues, the
skirts are sufficiently voluminous to fabricate a sense of stately,
aethereal grace in the midst of dance. The lush whisper of
richly-textured cloth trails every movement, bespeaking elegance and
luxury with the graceful sway of satin skirts.

(Irillia's past Beauty Seal win: a diamond-studded veil of the night sky)
You look at a diamond-studded veil of the night sky that Allyrianne is wearing:
Descending in lustrous folds from a silver filigree circlet, this
diaphanous veil has been fashioned from shimmering lengths of silk gauze
falling to the wearer's waist. The fine gauze has been dyed the deep,
ethereal blue of the sky at twilight when the first stars appear,
shrouding and softening the wearer's face beneath to a shadowy outline
of forehead, cheekbones, and jaw. Sewn with exquisite care upon the
translucent fabric, a veritable wealth of tiny diamonds sparkles across
the veil's expanse with clear, prismatic brilliance. Far from spangling
the veil at random, the multitude of diamonds has been patterned in the
shapes of the twelve constellations, whose endless dance forever
illuminates the night sky. Glimmering prominently on the forehead, a
scintillating array of diamonds recreates the Twin Crystals, the sign
rather appropriately said to govern thought and intellect. The Dolphin
is meticulously delineated against the wearer's left cheek amid wavelets
of diamond dust. From there, the signs proceed one by one down the veil,
the Lion yielding to the Crocodile followed by the Burning Censer, until
they end with the looming shape of the Spider at the bottom. From there,
the Dragon soars upward to meet the Skull, grinning up at the flying
Bumblebee, the Glacier, and the fiery Volcano, finishing at the wearer's
right cheek with the many-pointed Antlers. Lightly scattered between the
constellations, swirling trails of diamond dust recreate the twinkle of
more distant stars that populate the night. Behind the glittering
tracery of diamonds, the wearer's countenance shines luminous and
mysterious beneath this artistic recreation of the stars adorning the
    night sky.

You look at an avian wedding band of morning-gold filigree that Allyrianne is
    wearing:
Wrought of pale-hued gold, this wedding band has been sculpted into a
flawless circle with neither beginning nor end, reminiscent of the
profound bond shared by two lives joined in perfect harmony. Finespun
filigree weaves elaborately over the ring's morning-gold veneer in
relief, coalescing into the graceful wirework shapes of a superb
fairywren and nightingale; their dainty forms exist nestled closely to
one another, perched lightly upon the efflorescing stalk of a
bird-of-paradise bloom. Polished shards of black onyx, storm-grey
sapphire, and iridescent blue opal have been inlaid amidst the filaments
composing the minuscule avians, evocative of the birds' charmingly-hued
mantles. Glittering grey and teal-blue tints enliven both the wings and
crest of the fairywren bird, whereas the subtler nuances of midnight's
embrace ensconce the plumage of the nightingale. Beneath them, the
flower remains a subtle aurulent hue, the strands of gold composing its
tapered petals seeming to capture the ambient light, rendering it a
vessel for dawn's gentle skeins of liquid gold.

He is a feathered cloud trill and has a thin, drawn face framed by wings of a
soft, grey color. His skin is well tanned, although he has the posture of a man
who spends too long hunched over a desk. He is wearing a tawdry satchel, an
avian wedding band of morning-gold filigree, a teardrop pendulum of starlit
quartz, a colourful bracelet of woven threads, a chain of beryl and garnet links
and a dapper gentleman's suit of sapphire and teal. He walks with the truefavour
    of Isune.

You look at a dapper gentleman's suit of sapphire and teal that Portius is
    wearing:
Emboldened by lively hues of vivid teal and subtly-glimmering sapphire,
this luxurious suit has been primarily fashioned of a fine-threaded
linen weave. The ebon long-sleeved shirt is fastened with several
diamond-shaped buttons of dark silver, each impressed with the
harmonious form of a mandala in miniature. Embroidered in glossy threads
of pale argent hue, a vest of sapphire silk brocade has been similarly
patterned with iridescent mandalas, the garment's interior lined with
fluid ebon silk. Revealing only a portion of its accompanying shirt and
vest when closed, the jacket is a vibrant teal-blue, its angular cut
tailored to emphasise and streamline a slender frame; the buttons and
cufflinks are wrought of the selfsame silver as those of the shirt,
polished to an illustrious gleam. Similar to their counterpart, the
trousers of the suit are dyed bright teal, fitted with deep pockets and
iron-pressed to a smart crease. As a final, august embellishment, a silk
cravat of sapphire hue has been tucked elegantly into the shirt's
collar. Evocative of the plumage of the superb fairywren in all its
sky-toned hues, this gentleman's suit fosters a dapper appearance, the
faintly iridescent threads of silver and sapphire lending a subdued
refinement to the bright shades of teal-blue.

Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
