If your ranking people you could do a sort of ranking tournament as the first event.

I dont like the gold cap either. It turns hunting into a "dailies" style quest. You are discouraged from playing the game by your rewards stalling.

50-150k in an hour depending how quick or good your luck is. Nerfing gold gen isnt going to fix the economy though.

A more active arena scene would be a big plus for everyone. It'd help newbies get into combat in a safe sphere, it'd give folks more stuff to do etc

That is the crux of it but the reason for the boredom is because you dont see a conflict event for weeks at a time.

Some ideas I like the sound of:
Remove exp loss for death for defenders defending their own org lands. Doesn't work for allies only org members. Eg A Gaudi helping defend etherglom dies and they lose exp… -
Its cheaper to fly on an airplane to your destination than it is to use a train.

I totally dislike there being any mechanical benefit to having a big or the biggest family.
I would personally love it if families did not effect culture score, didn't give a council seat and had 0 mechanical benefits.

The style of the event took away the advantage of having multiable seal bearers on your team for sure which opened up the playing field to the seal bearers who didn't have anyone to run the staff for them or had a limited number.

Monks, (Ninjakari) can be pretty effective in group PVP by just hitting a single form over and over again. Monks also have the strongest bashing attack in the game if you are interested in bashing.I really enjoyed the pre ascention ritual that was cooked up.
