Yea meldings in a weird place. Its pretty strong and required for large group combat but it does just add a level of boredom to fights.

To fair most classes can be amazingly effective with two macros in group combat. So that's not really a good yard stick to be measuring stuff with.

One little thing looking at the logs is I don't think folks are accounting for the harbringer song in their clot calculations so they are clotting a bit slow. Its not a big deal but it could be an extra tick of bleed on you I guess.

You can still force people to throw you their weapons if they don't have selfishness up so its kind of a basic combat defense against a cheap tactic.

Freeze your bread. If you want a sandwich just take out the two slices you need and stand them up and they will defrost almost as quick as you can cut and make the insides.
