I agree, but the point there was to challenge the idea that "Guild == gud lore". The mechanical structure of the guild often has little to nothing to do with its lore. In fact, some of the mechanical constraints of guilds run against good guild lore!
Ask @Akyaevin? I once spent literally 20 hours trying to do Shattered Earth back during IronHart when an event seemed to strongly point at it. Both of the element…
Point being that Mages get to choose among ~three 100% types and druids effectively get no choice in damage type at all :P. It's either our one 100% type or 50% cutting/blunt, which is bluh.

It limits the number being resold, yes. Credits are only ever sold at a higher price than you purchased them for. All the non-credit market ways of purchasing credits either give out free credits (and still would) or give …
Why would prices go up if credits became bound once purchased from the market? Are people purchasing them and turning around to resell them at lower prices?
We shouldn't nuke the governments, but it would be nice if they were a little more customization to their nation. Players run different nations differently, it would be nice to be able to shift some of the mechanical considerations accordingly.
If anything isn't going to happen, it's artifact rental.
Homesteads should not have been released as they were, frankly. They're a more expensive to start version of the same thing that (gasp) Aetolia has alongside their Building system. T…
In my opinion, the most effective way to pull gold out of Lusternia would be to open automated construction to organizations, in the way that other IREs have subdivisions and Aetolia has the Ministry of Development and Buildings. These allow give pl…
Ah right. Everyone gets nexus critters. In fact, I think that might be Gaudiguch's cosmic power generation: Their nexus critter quest is more involved but it generates variable power depending on which cosmic mob you hand the result to, just as infl…
I haven't heard anything about a monk overhaul, it may be left to envoys to sort out. In that case, it's probable that wound-dependent effects will be either disabled or have their wound-dependent effects m…
As far as I am aware, the Overhaul does not officially include anything more than what has already been done. The plan was for an affliction overhaul, a vitals overhaul, a racial overhaul, and a defenses overhaul and nothing more. We're already most…
That's correct, collecting fae does generate a small number of essence creatures. That is something that has been brought up in the comments of the report I pasted. I think that the best solution would be to add a number of 'permanent' essence creat…
Being familiar with the way my dogs kiss, the tongue goes directly up the nose, while they look pleadingly into your eyes, as if entreating you desperately to allow them to lick your tonsils as well. Okay, so one of m…
Just for one year! You do realize that each forest has something on the order of three to four hundred rooms, and that guards are almost totally useless at... guarding against this kind of thing, right?
I'm hoping that most classes get a long hard looking at and any necessary retools once the bulk of the Overhaul is over, but I count that as being part of the overhaul itself. At least three or four guilds will seriously need major special reports t…
There are no remaining bugs with the Wildewood Barkguard ability. Moonbeam is not really relevant to the topic and hand, as while it is useful for some things - this is emphatically not one of them.
