No idea, but I've died in Kephera hives, admittedly that was a while ago, and it was nowhere near the 5 mil I'd lose on enemy prime.

Hunting enemy territories don't count as anything other than a standard prime death. It's only enemy org territory (and off prime enemy org territories) that come with the painful essence loss.
