I'll always be a melder! And that means someone in the south that doesn't like melding at all (because it sucks (unless you use the widely available tools to just kill me instead as a much more functional class)) has to be one too! It…

That would seem like the intent, right? But right now, hindering monks doesn't really do much. I can alternate whisper and shieldstun, and people can spam entanglements, but very little seems to stop Tarken, for example, from still doing hi…
You don't /need/ a melder to counter a melder any more than you /need/ a bard to counter a bard. To be honest, I'm super ambivalent about the trueground-breaking possibility. For me, that's a really tough decision, at least.
Hemorrhaging as a mechanic is nil for group game balance until you heavily reduce the upfront bleed a monk can dish out. I thought that was the intent in the first place.
What do you all do when you feel completely unappreciated and feel like you have literally no one to talk to that would understand where you're coming from. Apparently for me, the response is to be completely unable to sleep.
I may be pulling this out of the thin air that is my memory, but I swear there used to be a syntax that converted real world date and time into a Lusternian date. Does anyone know it, or if it exists?
Honestly -- you need to put protection scroll out of your mind entirely. There's really not going to be a middle ground. Even if you heavily nerf melds in this way, or if you revert it back to the way it was, the problem statement is still going to …
Not necessarily, Lerad! You're right in that the standalone solutions probably wouldn't have been enough. But dropping all 3 onto melders is just...not something I'm used to. You just got done saying (or citing) that balancing the protection mechani…
I made a thread before this one that explains -why- I support the problem statement, but not the solutions. Seriously, I'm not trying to obfuscate my words here. I know full and well that it's crazy that melders can stand 1 room away and still be pe…
Funny thing about Sidd's forum post is that the same 2 melders are the only ones that commented. Well, me too, and I've already clarified what I meant.
Okay, do you see that there's 2 melder envoy comments on report 1574. That's 2 out of 6. That's not a full consensus. That's not even a majority. Everyone that supported that report was not a melder. How is that "okay" in the "boundaries of the tota…
Yeah, I supported all solutions. But not 1+2+3? I was expecting just one of those solutions to go in. I'm sorry if that's not clear, but you coming into this thread swinging is pretty indicative of what I mean. Seriously? Seriously?
Like I said in another thread, being in the room is still way too much of a threat to the melder and the melder's allies if you end up dying. So again, I want to reiterate, this does not incentivize melders to be in the room. At all. Especially for …
On a different note, I would be so happy to change the trans skill of all druidry and *mancies. But I've been saying that for months. Loldamage is boring as heck. But, I mean, this was January reports. May isn't going to have -any- reports (like, ob…
I seriously don't agree that melders had a necessity to be "brought down to other classes levels" (because they already were at that level). If you want to nerf bards though, please, be my guest, since they most closely resemble melds and are pretty…

I guess I have zero faith that anything particularly nice is going to come by a melder's way with the way reports have been going. I get what people are saying about subbing in some more active skills, but if you want melders to reall…
Celestines can pull off Absolve 1v1 via double powersink and through the use of Cosmic Quickening into Amissio, but my understanding is that it's a pretty close thing (like barely in range and only for a small window).
