If ripple were nerfed down to that level, Fleshpots and Master Crystals would be extremely easy to kill. I think part of the reason why Ethereal defenses are relatively weak is because Avatars are the strongest smobs.

I'm going to go ahead and argue that Elemental is such a useless plane in terms of raiding that it doesn't really need to be looked at. However, ripple can get up to 8s off-eq if you're -really- unlucky.

EDIT 2 (basically): I never really thought of mana as a useless vital until it was brought up in this context. I will say that if you guys impose mana drains to upkeep defences or somesuch...even if they are powerful, mana drains will have to be cut…

I remember people putting tuned statues against enemies of a certain clan in a Celest sea-battle area. I think the merian isle? I didn't know you could put statues in neutral areas and actually tune them against big orgs, though.
