The actual mandatory artifact is Map, which I understand will allow you to have a chance at chasing even in places like Facility and Dramube. Also in Mirage'd Pyromelds.
People are being pushed away because anytime they actually get the gumption and motivation to PvP, you come down hard, raiding multiple times a day nonstop until people give up, not to mention absolving domoths at every opportunity, et…
Lol @ the idea of featherweight charm being a standard item in your kit. I understand, Veyils, people want to nerf featherweight and you like being immovable or rescueable at the drop of a hat. You don't have to try and rope scent nose into it and r…
If you guys want to make scry/window balanceless, that would be fine too. Scent would still be better since you get a whole list of people (if not skunked) while scryers have to focus on one person only.
People are trying to file IllusorySelf and the like into the "grey area" part of this argument, where there are things that are actually grey and hard to solve (scent noses, health runes). Illusoryself, peppermint trueheal, even vitality pendan…
That's like asking why Trueheal exists. It's an iconic defensive isolated to Celestines and Paladins (and Templars/Illuminati if they're particularly lucky) Jk there's a solstice artifact that shops out trueheal too. Neither wond…
Surely you can see where something isolated to a single skillset (Glamours bards, a very niche choice) isn't as oppressive as every person with $$ having it. Don't be obtuse.
Personally I think it's fine that they share the name. Aeonics users being able to cast a timequake on a small but deadly scale and then juxtaposing it to the new in-game timequakes will make Aeonics users feel powerful, and I think that's a po…
I don't think that's fair to say; you decide how powerful these archpowers are. If you see people opting not to chase them, it's likely because they know they'll be stifled out by a stronger force.
Of all the books you could bring up to dispute the library system, you've chosen the one most likely to halt all positive conversation and direction. 10/10, would watch people shoot themselves in the foot again.
Just in case anyone was wondering, the bulk of Hallifaxian feedback is happening on the Discord. We are definitely looking into this, and I do want to say that a lot of this came from our players' ideas, and we're super happy to see that a lot …
You can also, if you want to expedite your own turn at the beacons, complete 8 of them yourself and let the person that's ahead of you finish the last one, repeat until they're done, instead of just waiting for them to do it all on their own time.
The vast majority of Hallifax has either quit or moved away. The reason for this has been hashed over several times; it's probably not worth bringing up here because it'll probably be ignored or dismissed. Just know that it's not any player's f…
Zap isn't totally awful. It can be used to snipe lower level players from several rooms away, and if you're a class that naturally builds electricity damage, it's a nice tool to have in your toolkit. More than that, the biggest thing I think is…
This issue has come up in a different form - people can use quest rankings to figure out who is doing annoying quests if they just keep a regular eye on it. Then, when the annoying quest is done, you just spot the difference.
Pacifism is also a hard stop on your offensive abilities. Compare pacifism stopping Thousandcuts entirely until it's cured, and clumsiness making Thousandcuts do no damage and wasting the power and burst.
He's asking whether the natural chance to miss your parry is going away (so even if I parry chest 100, weapons might still go through). Off-topic ish but still worth discussing.
