I wouldn't really consider 4cr per RL day to be that much. Pretty sure the cap used to be lower, but they raised it because of how fast you'd hit the cap (and how fast you can still hit it, is kinda ridiculous)
That happens occasionally in 2.1 too, actually. Probably one of the only problems I have with 2.1 (not what the thread is about, of course) -- Generally you click too rapidly in different spots, causes mudlet to stall and eventually just crash.

Every e-sport I know does double elimination properly. The winner of the winner's bracket only has to win one game/set/round/whatever, to win the whole thing in the finals. The loser's bracket winner has to win two.
