If someone was able to buy out 44k grain then yeah, I'd agree that it was likely the Trade Minister's fault if they're now short. Though if they had a massive stockpile, then 44k being bought from available stock might be nothing to them.
No. The timewarped damage will hit before the vampirism scene will have a chance to fire, and so vampirism will only happen on subsequent damage inflicted in that round.
I really like the little bits with Naenia (the palm up thing especially). Those small actions make for a really vivid picture. Thanks for posting these! in Xynthin - Some HighlightsComment by UshaaraDecember 2012

While it's not quite a weaponaura, I've recently made another draft for an Aeonics ability that benefits Sentinels. Report 996. Let me know what you make of it, or if you have suggestions for alternate ability!
1) For combat, aslaran is pretty much the go-to warrior race, but like
every other class, if you're not a complete min/maxer, several others
are fine. I was adamantine lucidian for ages and did alright.
Never had an issue with them myself either, but for a potential solution to the 'highways aren't safe for the non-demis who can't tank their hits' posts, would flagging them to become aggressive to people who stay in the room they're in for say, 3 s…

I struggled through Crime and Punishment, but am now reading the Brothers Karamazov and liking it. For another Russian one, I'd recommend Solzhenitsyn's 'Cancer Ward' if you haven't read it.
As Phoebus said, though we came close to it, Celest rejected our offer of non-aggression. As best I recall, I left the negotiations saying "Hallifax still wants this, so when you're ready come talk. In the meantime, since Celest has continued to att…

I am well aware that Hallifax isn't in any position to get and keep a domoth, nor is likely to be any time soon. I also agree that a good conflict system has to have winners and losers, or there is little point to it, but I thin…
I said it on the old forums, but it's like one side being able to raid whenever they like, and the losing side only be allowed raid at a prearranged time.
That's the intended purpose of flux, sure, however I disagree that orgs without domoths are limited to a once a year, 'you can now compete in X hours time be it convenient or not for you' is serving its purpose as a means of making domoth conflict e…

Is the idea ideal? Obviously not, which was why we ended up in the 'maybe it should be more like nexus weakenings' discussion last time. Astrologers determine that Domoths of Harmony/Chaos are weakening in X month, War/Justice i…

True, they can't help each other in the upgrade attempts, however the moment they lose the domoth, they are immediately free to help their allies insta-absolve it once dormancy is over. That certainly was obnoxious!

No idea if you saw them on the old forums, but I made a couple of posts about how I thought due to an alliance's ability to gain a stranglehold on domoths, it introduced a bias in the setup that discouraged participation in domo…
Hmm, perhaps more relevant to the 'improve collegiums' tangent the thread has taken, but I think tweaking the geography quest would allow for inclusion of some of what has been suggested here about good things for novices to know, without being any …
