Oh, and Falmiis, one of the best "abuses" if Deepcover was this: You could escape from Distort by Deepcovering as someone not enemied to the org.
Now that Distort has changed, that's no longer as much of an issue.

Doesn't retirement essentially trade in your artifacts for credits to spend on a different character? Seems like it should nix the use of honour-affecting arties since they are now "gone" anyways (the retired person has traded them in).

Seems like it would make more sense if they just didn't count either way at all, instead of being a negative counted against other investments (re: actual purchases). But! As you say, that's not your call.
