Also, tumble isn't a horrible last option choice. The couple seconds of slowdown while they move helps

I have always struggled to reach the required speed for the mangle -> gahtirak'sho combination reliably - even as a faeling with 245 speed staff. Probably got to do with my god awful latency or something.

The weak points in this chain are the ankle and the chest pains. Both are curable by power cures and allheale so you can try using those. The monk's job is to try and stick other affs (shriveled legs, regen affs on legs and other salve cures are a good to use on an opponent chasing salve balance) to eat the power cures and maintain the lock.

Another option is to fight in a room with an icewall you can tumble behind when things get out of hand. Add an echo to the attacks you see the monk use when they start the killing sequence and gtfo.

ETA: Also, you were at the point of sipping health and not curing wounds. A raze/tahto/kick (probably with wounding mod) did ~800 damage so I'm sure if Faenae had used damage mods, focussed on legs instead of leg/chest and spent the 5p for gahtirak'sho on tahtai she could have damaged you out easily.

I dislike the Tahtetso insta, but there are a few things you could've done to last a bit longer. Granted, not much you can do as a Pureblade against a Monk. I'm not sure if you're runed either. You really shouldn't be a Pureblade if you're not runed.
