Upon a large and ongoing discussion with Xypher about playing Left for Dead 2 together over Live, it was decided for the sake of general awesomeness that this event would be turned into a general Lusternian get together for all interested. There is no date set at all, just the intent to throw out the challenge to anyone interested in actually partying up and giving a good old fashioned zombie throw down. Concurrent dates depend on the interest and general response, so please, if you have any inkling of joining in at all, please post here and we'll go about setting up a date and time in earnest. I'm certainly up for this being a more then one date occurence, or even a tradition spanning multiple games. As I said, all based on interest.

Not of course, that anyone would ever play anything but Lusternia. Forgive me Estarra, I've seen what those shoes of yours can do. I'm merely..... Yes, filtering out the unbelievers for you to obliterate! I'm going back to Lusternia now, I promise!

Great. I guess that just dashes my dreams now, doesn't it. Seems like a very Lusternian thing to do.

Oh well, I suppose if any interest is had in this, simply post. I'm sure we can do our own thing if nobody wants to do it.

Then again, you could all buy Xboxes and make me a happy lizard. Whatever works best.

I have an Xbox, it's just much better for PC. All Valve games are. Sorry mate. confused.gif I'd love to play with anyone who's got it on PC too though.

Your soul cries out in ecstasy as it reaches new heights of power. You have advanced to level 100.
You have reached the illustrious level of Demigod.

"If we fail - if we blow up or degrade the biosphere so it can no longer sustain us - nature will merely shrug and conclude that letting apes run wild in the laboratory was fun for awhile but in the end a bad idea." - Ronald Wright
The Eye of Dylara
Perfectly clean, this eyeball has been wrenched from the socket of Dylara. It has been animated by some unusual force, constantly looking around itself as if in shock or fear. It is bathed in a light covering of white flames that roll endlessly over its surface. A single chain of empyreal metal pierces either side of the eye, allowing it to be worn around the neck.

I play both of them on Xbox so you're more than welcome to add me and poke me to join in. Just make sure I know you're from Lusternia as I don't usually add anyone I don't "know."

QUOTE (Everiine @ Jul 26 2010, 04:03 PM) *
Everiine enters from the south, and you brace the for the worst. Surely, you think, a ghastly wall of text is about to assault your senses, something so horribly overwritten it may as well be Eventru entering the realm. You squeeze your eyes shut, hoping to keep out the wailing and screaming that is bound to erupt from the carnage. Soon you realize that there is nothing: no wall of flamboyantly yellow text, no overused cliches, no attempts to draw your attention in any way. And then you remember: Everiine isn't even a Demigod. What are you worried for?

Everiine leaves to the north, turning his head to yell, "SUCKERS!" behind him.

"Look! More sleeping people! It must be naptime!.. but who has naptime now? Naptime comes BEFORE pants time. Not after. I think these people are just making up times!" ~ Caboose

My girlfriend and I greatly enjoy the Left 4 Dead games. We've been pretty busy ever since the second game was released, so we are not as familiar with it as we are with the first game, which we know inside out. However, we still have a lot of fun playing it. We have not yet tried versus mode on L4D2 though since we're just familiarizing ourselves with the campaigns.

Well, our hope is to do it soon. The issue at this point is choosing a good weekend to do it. Of course, we can try it during the week, but we all know how well that usually works.
