I was already familiar with the 'always watching', but when I realised how much Czixi keeps up with her Order's lives, I have had fangirl moment after fangirl moment being excited that she wants to play along. And I hope others are inspired to poke at us! I hate feeling like I've forced someone into an interaction they may have no interest in, so I often poke at people who've poked at me. It can be as simple as sending me a prayer! (Sorry people who've already done this that I haven't poked at yet. I've got a list, I promise.)

Black shadows slither from every corner of the room, gathering beneath Kyalrhin as she stands silent within the centre of the room. Resolute, she raises her arms in supplication, summoning a thick column of inky darkness from the black pool, staining the firmament with shadow. The column twists into a massive ravenwood as Kyalrhin looses a raucous caw, inviting wyrden life to nest within. < BT meld message is friggin rad.
Also an ancient quest isn't behaving the way I'm used to it behaving and it's highly distressing.

I suppose the way I'd put it is this. Our goal, both short-term and long term, is to fix what we have while making the game enjoyable for our existing players in the meantime. While we want to attract new players obviously, new players will be turned off by half-finished and broken systems being left around.
As Xenthos said, Autocuring is one of the biggest things that allows new players to enter combat, and even bash/influence without having to script or work with their client (very often, Nexus is the first client new players use - we don't want to have to tell players "we're sorry, you have to use Mudlet to do basic things.")
Fixing classes, the economy, all of which are on our short-term and long-term roadmaps are things which will keep players old and new invested. Endgame is something everybody will reach, and frankly, with the habit players have of bashing everybody they see up to demigod in the first five minutes they meet them, it seems a good priority for us.
To summarise, there's no point in drawing in new players if we're just going to drive them off, so we should fix the things that are doing that.
