How does one earn some credits?

RolsandRolsand Member Posts: 880 Adept
Since I'm not really down with the whole buying credits and writing/drawing idea I'm forced to earn credits in any possible way.For all those amazing players that don't buy credits how do you earn them? And also why isn't there a variety of ways to earn credits in Lusternia?

There are a number of ways to earn credits in Lusternia, but the easiest is to buy them...

... because this is a business and that is how they produce the game for us to enjoy.

    1) Get elected as some random guild's GM.

    2) Withdraw.

    3) Run far, far away.

Mayor Steingrim, the Grand Schema says to you, "Well, as I recall you kinda leave a mark whereever you go."

Your org likely has a system of credit rewards. Read your CHELPs and see whether or not anything pops up. Maybe by contributing power to your org, or there's a reward system for helping with raids, idk. As someone who does the 'write stuff' route, though, I don't have much else to offer.

    How to make credits

Or, like Sylandra said, there may be rewards within your city. Often orgs also have credit sales as well, where they will sell for far cheaper than CREDITS FOR SALE.

Also, CREDITS FOR SALE exists, if you feel like getting gouged.

The best bang for your buck is probably the Iron Membership, but that involves paying moneys.

Magnagora's actually pretty good about the credits, so you're lucky there. Beat Malarious to the sands and you've got some there.

Otherwise, if you can write and/or draw, you can try for bardics/artisanals.

We do have a credit reward system! It includes things like domoths and empowering the earth Lords. Also plays and writing. But yeah. There is stuff. Also the no brainer credit package is a great deal! I do the lame drawing thing to get credits. Which reminds me. This month's is going to be a massive test of my drawing abilities.

Turn up for every domoth upgrade (there's been plenty), revolts, aetherflares. If you're not already CR6 you would be quickly, then you'll get a credit each time. (unless that's changed?)

Bash. Turn in corpses for gold where you can. use your trade. Gold gold gold. Buy credits in game.

Have you met the roulette wheel? ;))
    I used to make cakes.

This is what I do. Plus artisanals, but he said no drawing.

Would submitting a drawing of a famous painting be allowed in the contest?

    From HELP ARTISANAL

    RULES

    Artistic/Artisanal entries must
1 - be completely original artistic works, done by you only.
    2 - be distinctly Lusternian.*
    3 - not be collages.
4 - cover any subject within that framework (history, portrait, map, etc)

We look for excellence, in writing or artistry.

Then don't do it! There are plenty of ways to do well in Lusternia without resorting to bardics or artisanals. Just be active in your org and help out where you can, and rewards will follow.

If it's not worth working hard for, it's not worth having. If you can't do the hard stuff for credits, do easy stuff. Do your achievements for bards and scholars. Do domoths and get attendance credits. Put power into the nexus to get credits.
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.

If you need credits for lessons... doing all of the achievements is a pretty nice way. Plus leveling. :)

I influence and sell my esteem for credits, and I get pretty great xp for the time I put in.

I can't influence high level mobs at all. Tbh I just collect sand every year and empower the lords.

Earned about 20 credits this year which is pretty good.
