Moon Priestess Ridien says, "The blood of an animal, however, can also be a tool. Consider fetishes -
    - efficient, powerful tools created by ecologists. It is exactly as Kendra says -- a tool of bones
and blood that has been magnified, changed, enchanted. Made into a tool."
  • TremulaTremula Banished Quasiroyal
Somewhat new, but made me happy cry and has helped me find hope.

    Fleurie - Breathe

    Before an earthly flight

  • Day 24 - A song by a band you wish were still together
  • The Matches. They're kind of together with occasional reunion tours, need more music from them!

R.E.M. will always have a place in my heart for many reasons.  I've put a couple of their songs in this list already.  Some of their most meaningful songs never got the popularity they deserved.  Here's two, though I've been trying to restrict myself to one song per entry here.

Welcome to the Occupation, from Document, wonderful harmony.

Be Mine, from New Adventures in Hi-Fi.  The metaphores and poetry in this song are wonderful, and really can paint a picture.

  • Day 25 - A song you like by an artist no longer living
  • So many choices...

This one's a bit obvious, but hey...

(though, the first time I heard it, it was sung by little mice in "Babe")

  • Not Ess.
    Totally not Ess.
Probably Kistan but that only has one s
  • Day 27 - A song that breaks your heart
  • You know, I haven't actively listened to R.E.M. in a few years, but this list has made me realize how important that band was to my development of musical appreciation, because I keep coming back to them in this list when put to a question.  Here's "Strange Currencies"

  • Day 28 (almost over) - A song by an artist whose voice you love
  • Day 29 - A song you remember from your childhood
  • Zombie Jamboree, covered by Rockapella
