This was held on the 21st of Klangiary, 355 years after the coming of Estarra. Fang Xenthos An'Ryshe presided over the ceremony in Shikari's realm.

I've made a couple of tiny edits in the text where first person emotes simply don't read well, my inexperience with emote giving someone something is rather apparent. There is also a tiny bit in Orclach I've left in by request, I was tempted to edit it out and let the mystery remain!

Upon the Predator's vantage point.

The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. The clouds here somehow manage to handle anything which stands upon them, the entirety of the mountain and the surrounding
lands can easily be made out below. Every single thing going on within the locality can be seen from this perfect vantage point in the sky. The surrounding storm somehow does little to obscure the view below, and spirits can be seen darting all about the place in retreat from the minions of the Predator. A leopard lurks in the shadows, curiously watching anything that moves.

His dark ebony scaled tail curling between four fearsome legs, a large chimaera with sapphire
feathered wings crouches quietly within his surroundings.
Lady Aleyah Shee-Slaugh, Thorned Threnody is here. She wields a diamond and onyx violin in her left hand.
Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist is here, his visage blurring between the snarling faces of the Spirits and his own. He wields a ritualistic dagger of Shikari in his right hand.
Sister Haiden n'Lochli is here, shrouded.

Bewitching melodies drift languidly upon the air, heralding the entrance of Eliron as he glides in from the north.

Lord Eliron Shee-Slaugh, Maestro of the Lament escorts Iorwen to Xenthos and you, then places a soft kiss on her cheek and steps back.

You incline your head politely to Eliron.

You smile softly at Iorwen.

Eliron nods his head at you.

Iorwen smiles softly.

She is a nimble shadowcaster faeling and is a small woman, whose fair skin is besmirched by the scars on her forearms and wrists. Although her height is proportionate to that of a young child, her build is thin but shapely, and exhibits some muscle tone. Her hair is a dark auburn and falls to her waistline in neat curls. A few garnet pins decorate her hair, holding the curls away from the delicate features of her face. The corners of her mouth give way to graceful cheekbones, highlighted by the faint shadows they cast, and her slender nose turns up slightly at its end. Her almond-shaped, lavender eyes emit a luminescent glow, bathing her features in an eerie light. Her face is painted with an intricate spiderweb and a bone nose.
She is wearing:
 a stopped watch
 an ebon coin pouch
a filigreed cloak pin carved with an open eye
a bone talisman buried in the centre of her chest
 a cloak of crow feathers
 a silver torc
an elegantly draped gown of ebon silk and crimson lace
 a pair of delicate
 black wedding sandals
a filmy veil of black silk
 a Shee-Slaugh House pendant
a garnet bracelet of webs and a garnet and rose circlet.

You whisper quietly in Iorwen's ear.

Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist inclines his head in welcome to those who have assembled, then turns to you and Iorwen.

You nod your head at Xenthos.

Iorwen inclines her head politely to Xenthos.

Marcella, riding a bone white nightmare, arrives from the north.

You flash Marcella a joyous smile.

Iorwen smiles softly at Marcella.

Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "We are gathered here to witness the bonding of two members of Lord Shikari's Pack- a bond far deeper and personal even than the ties already between us."

Eliron inclines his head politely to Marcella.

Marcella snaps to attention zealously, her posture an example of perfect military discipline.

Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "Iorwen, Morkarion. Hold out your hands to each other."

Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, Keeper of the Black Nest extends a hand towards you, her palm upturned and awaiting his grasp.

Shadow Warden Morkarion n'Lochli, Master of the Bloodhunt extends his arm out to Iorwen's, turning his gaze towards as a gentle smile spreads across his face, taking Iorwen's hand in his.

Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist swipes the ritual dagger with two quick, precise movements as their hands reach for one another, only the tip swiping across their palms. As the hands unite, he approaches with a long thin rope of plaited sabretooth hair entwined with spider silk, and slips it into their grasp. After they clasp, no blood escapes from their grip.

Gathering the ends of the rope in his hands, Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "You are both His, though you walk different paths. I will not charge you to obey each other always, for such mindless obedience is unbecoming of the Predators you are."

Tying the ends together in an intricate knot, Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "Instead, I charge you to always bear in mind His beliefs, and to stand by each other through whatever trials may come."

Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist steps back as the parts of the rope emerging from their united hands slowly gathers a dark red cast, and inclines his head towards the pair.

Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, Keeper of the Black Nest nods towards Xenthos before turning to you and smiling softly at him. She grips his hand more tightly and says in a gentle voice, "Morkarion..."

Gently, Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, Keeper of the Black Nest says to you, "Soon you will be my husband and words cannot express the joy that I feel. You have filled many different roles in my life: my friend, my confidant and now my husband. I have loved you, in some form, as all of those things. I am eternally grateful to you for what you have done, and each day I find myself falling in love with you all over again. I look forward to a happy and long life with you by my side."

Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, Keeper of the Black Nest says to you, "As you have been there for me, I vow to be there for you in your time of need. You need not ever be alone."

Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, Keeper of the Black Nest says to you, "I recall when you first came to Glomdoring, expressing your desire to join our commune. I did not know then how close we would become, and I was admittedly a bit wary of your presence, but I saw potential in you. The potential to serve our forest well. You have not proven me wrong in that assumption. I find myself continually astounded by your accomplishments, accomplishments that would seem daunting to me, and I am very proud of what you have achieved. I am proud to call you my husband, to share my life with you and there is no one in this world that I trust more."

Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, Keeper of the Black Nest says to you, "You are my inspiration, my reason to continually move forward and to better myself. I vow to always strive for new and greater things, so that you may also be proud of my accomplishments."

Smiling softly, Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, Keeper of the Black Nest says to you, "I have little more to say, or rather.. there is little more that can be said which you do not already know. I know that you have been nervous, thinking of the life that we will have together and the uncertainties that our future together holds. Will my family accept you? Will you be a good husband and a good father? I do not claim to know what the future holds, but I do know what is in my heart. I believe in you, I trust in you, and regardless of what the future may bring.. I love you. Those feelings will never change. That is my most important vow."

Morkarion swallows a lump in his throat, unable to hide a wide, beaming smile spread across his face.

Lord Eliron Shee-Slaugh, Maestro of the Lament flicks his eyes to you for a minute, then resumes watching Iorwen.

Morkarion lets out a small cough to clear his throat, allowing a moment to compose himself before turning to those gathered.

You say, "Apologies, but what I have to say next I choose to say in my native tongue, for they are words for only one person..."

Morkarion looks down at a crumpled note of paper in his free hand.

You say, "And though she may not understand such language yet, regardless these are words for her and her only."

Shadow Warden Morkarion n'Lochli, Master of the Bloodhunt hands the note across to Iorwen.

You say, in Orclach, "I Morkarion n'Lochli swear to you, Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, that from this day until the end of days that I am yours. That you have my companionship, my trust, my ear to listen, my shoulder to cry on, my arms to find comfort in, and my heart to love you."

Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, Keeper of the Black Nest takes the note in her free hand and smiles, looking over its contents slowly.

You say, in Orclach, "You are the still breeze that calms my raging storm, you are the soft whisper that gently quietens my angry roar and when the world turns to black, when my thoughts know only violence, you are the peaceful tranquility shining out amongst the darkness."

You say, in Orclach, "Everything I have to give, I give to you, my love, my wife, my D'leom."

Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist steps forward again, a hand reaching up to grasp the rope. As you finishes speaking, the red cast creeping along its strands meets at the knot. "Though you will not always be physically together, you are now united. Let none come between you. Should any attempt to sever your bond, meet them united, and cut them down with His ferocity." He gestures for the pair to release their hold and holds forth the symbol in his hands, forever tied together and imbued with their blood. "Now. There are rings?"

You nod your head emphatically.

Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, Keeper of the Black Nest reluctantly lets go of Morkarion's hand and nods.

Morkarion reaches into a small pouch, taking a ring out gently from within by his forefinger and thumb.

Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, Keeper of the Black Nest takes the ring from her coin pouch and gently holds it in her hand, looking up at Morkarion with a smile.

Slipping the ring over his finger, Iorwen gives an elegant wedding band of folded metals to Morkarion.

Gently taking Iorwen's hands into his, Morkarion places the ring on her finger, you give an elegant wedding band of folded metals to Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, Keeper of the Black Nest.

Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist says, "Kill well, Iorwen and Morkarion."

Iorwen Shee-Slaugh, Keeper of the Black Nest smiles and says to Xenthos, "Thank you, Fang."

You say to Xenthos, "Indeed, thank you Fang."

Straight after the ceremony Xenthos had to depart for RL reasons, huge thank you to him for conducting it, and to those who joined, and for the reception in the Shee-Slaugh manse (thanks to Eliron for letting us use it!) And thank you to Shikari for use of His realm!

And lastly, the rings! Both identical, and one of Iorwen's many amazing designs for the wedding.

Its surface striated with flowing lines and graceful whorls, this wedding band is crafted from three distinct metals: gold, silver and platinum. The metals are folded repeatedly onto each other in a process that looks much like swordsmithing, and are melded into a solid ring that is both durable and elegantly crafted. At the centre of this thin circle, three black amethysts are affixed to the metal band by small prongs that reach up and cradle the gems. The amethysts are arranged in a straight line, which follows the contour of the wedding band, and displays the gems at the top of the finger when worn.

The divine voice of Avechna, the Avenger reverberates powerfully, "Congratulations, Morkarion, you are the Bringer of Death indeed."

You see Estarra the Eternal shout, "Morkarion is no more! Mourn the mortal! But welcome True Ascendant Karlach, of the Realm of Death!

I have not been called by my boss at home for quite some time now.  Tonight, at pretty much exactly 5:30, just as the wedding is about to begin... I get a call asking me to come in to the office.

Yes, I had to ask my boss for a bit of extra time in order to conduct a wedding ceremony.  And since she asked, I had to actually tell her that was the reason.

She graciously allowed it, for which I am thankful.

Wonderful ceremony. It's a pity I was unable to attend. My baby brother's graduation ceremony and dinner was that day, and I had barely any time to log in.

No worries! We had a few people with real life things that stopped them from being able to make it, which was one of the major reasons I wanted to log it for everyone.

Thanks again for the RP leading up to it too! <3
