Where have all the pictures gone?

I checked out the lusternia art pages just now, trying to get a look at all the old art stuff, yet at some points the pictures simply... stop appearing. Is this a problem for others? Any solutions found to it?
Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.
