You said that under the new changes typing GET n ITEM when there is several of something in a room will target specifically that item, though how will this affect people hunting and looting corpses?

Say for example someone is out hunting (for this example I'll use kephera wardens)

kephera12345 a kephera warden
kephera23456 a kephera warden
kephera29384 a kephera warden
kephera30958 a kephera warden
kephera90210 a kephera warden
Number of objects: 5

if someone was to type GET 5 CORPSE, would it still loot all 5 corpses or would it now only specifically target the 5th corpse in the list, meaning we'd have to specifically use GET ALL CORPSE, assuming such a command even works (I haven't tried it)

EDIT:  Never mind, I missed a vital part of the new command due to having viewed the announcement on a small cellphone screen =p
Never put passion before principle.  Even if you win, you lose.

If olive oil comes from olives, where does baby oil come from?

If vegetarians eat vegetables, what do humanitarians eat?

You put a . in it when you are using the new get command.

So GET 5 CORPSE would indeed still get 5 corpses.

GET 5.CORPSE would get the fifth one.

  • Will this be integrated into the newbie intro/quest line? It's useful and would be good to get newbies using it early.

I'm still just so happy.  This has been in Diku/Circle/pick any of those inferior code bases since...at least 15 years ago?  Back when I first started playing MUDs.  That Lusternia finally has it has made me giddy beyond belief.
