AEROCHEMANTICS - WINDWALK

Syntax: AEROCAST WINDWALK
        WINDWALK, DESCEND
As the sky is the home to all aeromancers, you can simply walk on the
winds and be at home among the clouds. Also, you will be immune from
blasts of wind that move you on the Elemental Plane of Air.

You will now always find it easier to walk in high winds.

AEROCHEMANTICS - BATTERIES

Syntax: BATTERIES CREATE
        BATTERIES STATUS
        BATTERIES TRANSMUTE [#] TO <reagent>
        BATTERIES RELEASE # <reagent>
 Power: 10 (Matrix) (to create)
Outlay: silver 50 (to create)
        cloudessence 1 (to transmute)

Batteries are the backbone of Aerochemantics, storing the raw power of
reagents transmuted from cloud essence. A single piece of essence can be
engineered to create five units of reagent. Your batteries can hold up
to 2000 reagents of any type.


AEROCHEMANTICS - STRATUS

       Syntax: AEROWORK STRATUS FIELD
               AEROWORK STATUS
               AEROWORK FOCUS <target>
       Outlay: stratus 1
  Damage Type: 100% Electricity
Damage Source: Magical

You are now able to transmute the stratus reagent. By releasing the
stratus reagent from your batteries you can create a field around
yourself that will last one Lusternian day. When you focus your field
upon a target, they will be periodically shocked by the energies.

AEROCHEMANTICS - CONDUCTIVE

         Syntax: ENGINEER CONDUCTIVE AMPLIFIER
         Outlay: silver 10
                 stratus 100
Damage Modifier: 20 electrical (buff)

By engineering a silver circuit infused with aerochemantic reagents you
are better able to conduct electrical energies, bolstering the amount of
electric damage you do. The amplifier will lose its conductive ability
after 50 Lusternian months.

AEROCHEMANTICS - IONIC

Syntax: AEROWORK IONIC CLOUD
Outlay: silver 10
        stratus 100

You can release a cloud of ions around you using your knowledge of
aerochemantic reagents. This cloud has a chance to knock those who
attack you off balance. It will disperse after 50 months.

AEROCHEMANTICS - CIRRUS

Syntax: AEROWORK CIRRUS FIELD
Outlay: cirrus 1

You are now able to transmute the cirrus reagent. By releasing the
cirrus reagent from your batteries you can create a field around
yourself that will last one Lusternian day. When you focus your field
upon a target, they will be periodically become sensitive to pain.

AEROCHEMANTICS - INSULATION

         Syntax: ENGINEER INSULATION
         Outlay: silver 10
                 stratus 100
Damage Modifier: 20 fire (resist)

By engineering a matrix of silver and aerochemantic reagents to cover
your body you are able to better insulate your body against heat. The
insulation will lose its resistive ability after 50 Lusternian months.

AEROCHEMANTICS - ANTIGRAVITY

Syntax: ENGINEER ANTIGRAVITY DISC
Outlay: silver 25
        cirrus 100
        stratus 100

With an antigravity disc your entourage can follow you to do battle in
the skies, even if they could not otherwise fly. Your disc will last 50
months.

AEROCHEMANTICS - CUMULUS

Syntax: AEROWORK CUMULUS FIELD
Outlay: cumulus 1

You are now able to transmute the cumulus reagent. By releasing the
cumulus reagent from your batteries you can create a field around
yourself that will last one Lusternian day. When you focus your field
upon a target, the brilliance of your form will periodically cause
epilepsy.

AEROCHEMANTICS - CLOUDKILL

       Syntax: AEROWORK CATALYST CLOUDKILL
        Power: 5 (Matrix)
  Damage Type: 50% Electric, 50% Asphyxiation
Damage Source: Magical

By creating a reaction between your cirrus field and your stratus field,
the resulting product will cause damage to all enemies in your room as
well as making them sensitive to damage in a delayed blast.

AEROCHEMANTICS - BEAMGENERATOR

       Syntax: ENGINEER BEAM GENERATOR
               GENERATOR BEAM <target>
       Outlay: silver 50
               cirrus 100
               stratus 100
               cumulus 100
  Damage Type: 50% Electric, 50% Asphyxiation
Damage Source: Magical

Using your knowledge of engineering, you are now able to create a Class
B beam generator. While Class A generators were lost to an alternate
timeline, these beam generators maintain the firing strength while
increasing mobility over the old prototype.

AEROCHEMANTICS - QUANTUM

       Syntax: AEROWORK CATALYST QUANTUM
        Power: 5 (Matrix)
  Damage Type: 50% Electric, 50% Asphyxiation
Damage Source: Magical

By creating a reaction between your cirrus field and your cumulus field,
the resulting product will cause damage to all enemies in your room as
well as warping time around them in a delayed blast.

AEROCHEMANTICS - ALTOSTRATUS

Syntax: AEROWORK ALTOSTRATUS FIELD
Outlay: altostratus 1

You are now able to transmute the altostratus reagent. By releasing the
altostratus reagent from your batteries you can create a field around
yourself that will last one Lusternian day. When you focus your field
upon a target, the particles in your field will passively cause asthma.

AEROCHEMANTICS - DYNOMATIC

Syntax: AEROWORK DYNOMATIC CLOUD
Outlay: silver 50
        stratus 100
        altostratus 100

You can release a cloud of spinning particles around you using your
knowledge of aerochemantic reagents. This cloud has a chance of giving
the aeon curse to those who attack you. It will disperse after 50
months.

AEROCHEMANTICS - FORCE

Syntax: ENGINEER FORCE GENERATOR
        AEROWORK FORCEWALL <direction>
Outlay: silver 25
        cirrus 100
        cumulus 100
        altostratus 100

The compact force generator can be used to block an exit with a
forcewall. Doing almost anything other than maintaining your forcewall
will be too distracting to properly maintain the wall. Your force
generator will break down after 50 months.

AEROCHEMANTICS - AURORA

       Syntax: AEROWORK CATALYST AURORA
        Power: 5 (Matrix)
  Damage Type: 50% Electric, 50% Asphyxiation
Damage Source: Magical

By creating a reaction between your cirrus, cumulus, and altostatus
fields, the resulting product will cause damage to all enemies in your
room as well as binding them in coils of cloud in a delayed blast.

AEROCHEMANTICS - THINKTANK

Syntax: AEROWORK LINK <engineer or aeromancer>

By linking your fields to the elemental power of another Aeromancer or
Aerochemantic Engineer, you can extend the reach of your catalysts. Each
link will increase the radius of your effects by one room. Any damage
caused by the catalysts will be increased by the synergistic environment
of an Aeromancer's demesne.

AEROCHEMANTICS - FOCALTIP

       Syntax: ENGINEER FOCAL TIP
               GENERATOR HYPERBEAM <target>
       Outlay: silver 25
               altostratus 100
  Damage Type: 100% Electric
Damage Source: Magical

The focal tip can be created by a skilled engineer, upgrading the beam
generator by allowing it to spread out the energies of the beam.

AEROCHEMANTICS - ELECTROMAGNETIC

Syntax: AEROWORK ELECTROMAGNETIC CLOUD
Outlay: silver 50
        cumulus 100
        altostratus 100

You can release a cloud of elctromagnetism around you using your
knowledge of aerochemantic reagents. This cloud has a chance to stun
those who attack you. It will disperse after 50 months.

AEROCHEMANTICS - POSITRONIC

Syntax: AEROWORK POSITRONIC CLOUD
Outlay: silver 50
        cirrus 100
        altostratus 100

You can release a cloud of positrons around you using your knowledge of
aerochemantic reagents. This cloud has a chance to steal the breath of
those who attack you. It will disperse after 50 months.

AEROCHEMANTICS - VACUUM

       Syntax: AEROWORK CATALYST VACUUM
        Power: 10 (Matrix)
  Damage Type: 50% Electric, 50% Asphyxiation
Damage Source: Magical

By creating a reaction between your cirrus, cumulus, stratus, and
altostatus fields, the resulting product will cause damage to all
enemies in your room. The implosion will cause extra damage to those who
are dizzy, sensitive, asthmatic, epileptic, or suffering from aeon. The
sheer force of the implosion will stun your enemies with those who
suffer from the above afflictions being stunned longer.

AEROCHEMANTICS - STATIC

Syntax: AEROWORK STATIC FIELD
        AEROWORK STATIC DISCHARGE (to remove)
Outlay: cirrus 10
        stratus 10
        cumulus 10
        altostratus 10

While you are surrounded by a static field, enemies who enter your
location may be flung away, stunned, and knocked asprawl. Enemies who
attack you may suffer the same fate. This field will weaken over time
and will fade away completely after a Lusternian day.

    Seriously though, that's one hell of a skillset. Static looks to be amazing crowd control, and there's a lot of roomwide damage in there too, hopefully this will get people to consider trying Halli and start an org resurrection.

    Off balance, aeon, stun and forced-move/stun/prone as passives on enemy attacks look nasty. Question is what the chance for each to fire is. Definitely a very nice skillset-theme, though.

    I see we're slowly upping the game on pissing off monks and one-handers. Now there's not only 2 passive combo breakers, but also a trans skill to do that as well. I'm looking forward to the pyros getting 4 passive combo breakers and a trans skill that spams combo users with a big smiley face showing off their middle finger.

    Vacuum looks even more potent than Glinshari. I almost feel sorry for the Aquas. They get 3 (or was it 4? I can't remember if the first sheen gave pacifism or ego drain) of their 5 boostable affs from their uncontrollable passives, removing any chance of them applying it strategically. On the other hand, Glinshari get faeriefire (lol) for one of their boostable affs while Vacuum gets 3 out of 5 of their boostable affs from their 10sec, unblockable fields. Of course, doesn't make these afflictions any easier to stick, but w/e.

    If I wasn't the Institute's administrator and I had the lessons to burn, I would seriously consider switching guilds to get at this. I can't speak for the combat factor, but I think whoever did the design on this absolutely nailed the flavor.
    Any sufficiently advanced pun is indistinguishable from comedy.

    No % rates to back up this claim, but I don't foresee the dynomatic (aeon) cloud being a problem since it'd need to fire twice in quick succession to get past quicksilver.

    Biggest unique to aerochem issue likely to be forcewall.

    So how powerful is forcewall? Can you gust the user past? How do you stop it? How can you get through?

    If its 100% stops all movement through, including trying to move the user that would be nuts. I am hoping its like windwall, % chance to stop.

    Try double Cloudkill, or even single. A cloudkill with no affs was wiping me out for 97% health.

    Way past my bedtime and was focused more on getting the lines out so if someone else hasn't fully tested forcewall, will do tomo, but initial impression is very powerful for group, not useable solo.

    Seemed to be 100% entry/exit prevention, prevents tumble in that direction but doesn't stop if raised after initiated, pogo was bypassing it but waiting for bug resolution there. Didn't check gusting past, and imagine anything that makes the user do -anything- will drop it.

    Can't wait for the "Use the Force!" clan call though! :)
