Sudden as a splash
are the friendships kindled here,
for bright is the light
of silver fireflies that dance
with the steps of the Seren.
-Xiran, 16 Dioni, 650
Last month, a handsome sylph sought out our Isotta of the White Hands on a quest to find the most beautiful of each fae. After an exchange of pleasantries and songs, the encounter quickly deteriorated when the sylph became fixated on Isotta's comb and a struggle ensued as he tried to wrest it from her, an ordeal that would see them fall together into her pool.
Perhaps unbeknownst to the sylph, Isotta had received a visitor by way of her pool a month prior in another disconcerting encounter. When Isotta emerged from the pool with her comb before the sylph, she became quite distressed at not only having her treasured comb stolen but also another trespasser into her pool. Such was the emotion that the pool responded and attracted more fireflies into its depths where they blinked and flickered wildly around the sylph within it.
What would emerge from the pool after this wild tumult was neither sylph nor fireflies, but something quite new. Quite different. The Lady Maylea, Who had been drawn by Isotta's cries, identified him as an ephemeral spirit and dubbed him the Scintillae before bidding him to our care and wondering if he might bring new colours to the Serenwilde.
And so it was that Junzain was welcomed under the eaves of the Grace of the Moonhart.
Be blessed ever under Moon's silver gaze,

Junzain, the Scintillae
A swarm of silver fireflies has coalesced into, or perhaps around, a humanoid form, their movement giving shape to an ethereal being of air and twinkling luminescence. He is a radiant immortal, bearing only the vaguest hint of being masculine, namely in the slim musculature and bare-chestedness suggested by the swarm's shape. Though the individual fireflies drift slowly, each to their own rhythm, the overall being maintains a sense of cohesion, his movements emerging from the seemingly unordered dance of the small insects. The fireflies' soft, silvery blinking continue nonchalantly, generally uncoordinated except when stronger emotion from the being creates a synchronized effect. The only fireflies that do flicker in tight concurrence are those making up the outline of the ephemeral's eyes, which blink as would any mortal's.

Assembling Chixesaka Miim's Ledger
With: Chixesaka Miim, Xislia Dith, Tloxenga Chum, a loboshigaru pilgrim
as well as Eiselle, Galaphyrae, Huskii, Beda, Ixchilgal, Jalraza, Jezira, Uzriel, Xenthos, and Xiran.
Mistress of the Silk, Tloxenga Chum says, "For Chixesaka? I don't know... He is so grumpy."
Fair Galaphyrae says, "The need is most dire."
Huskii Myeras of the Misty Vale whispers, "Well, not really..."
Chiming like gently struck crystal, you echo to Fair Galaphyrae, "Why do I hear you speak in the most flat affect..."
Galaphyrae's melodic voice sings into your mind, "Perhaps it is just my attention to diction."
(later)
Nodding slowly, Counter of the Coins, Chixesaka Miim says, "Yes, this is an improvement on quality. Still needs work, but... it could be used."
Tossing both hands lightly up into the air, Galaphyrae intones, "Huzzah."
I can't top @Huskii's hilarious rave in Discord #godmin_raves, but it was a fun event to follow in Dairuchi. The bonus interaction between Eiselle and the loboshigaru pilgrim was nice. Thanks to everyone who made it happen and everyone who joined in! (Log at https://forums.lusternia.com/discussion/4830/assembling-chixesaka-miims-ledger )
