With the Nine Challenges complete, Avechna, the Avenger declared that Ascension begins for Almighty Kethuru could not be held back any longer without the Nine Seals whole. Magnagorans were first to reach the Staff of Ascension, with Warlord Uzriel d'Vanecu, the Sealbearer of Life, to pick it up and pass it on to their chosen contender - Silvanus d'Murani. From there, they raced to the Astrosphere of Scorpio, where the Almighty's power was manifesting and the Staff of Ascension was necessary to hold Him back.
Thus positioned, they waited, for they had none to rely on but themselves this Ascension. And though the forces of Gaudiguch, Glomdoring, Hallifax, and New Celest sought to pry the Staff of Ascension from his hands, Silvanus never relinquished it. Magnagora faced wave after wave of resolute opposition and blood was shed upon every Astrosphere of the Astral Plane, soaking into the Almighty's domain.
While battles raged upon Astral, Serenwilde chose to focus their efforts on protecting the Basin of Life rather than championing a Sealbearer of their own. With the Seals weakened, Kethuru was able to send forth the Daemuru of Cardinals into Oleanvir Valley where it was first found by Huskii Myeras. The invasions continued with the Shogatha of Mutability and the Azoraphant of Fixation ravaging across the Prime Plane, all stopped by Serenwilde who chose to devote these efforts to their own Sealbearer, Madungonga Stormhide.
On Astral, Kethuru continued to manifest His power upon the Astrospheres, forcing those seeking to seal Him away to change tactics and locale frequently. Eventually, Silvanus was triumphant in proving himself to Avechna and became the True Ascendant to recharge the seals. The process both destroyed and remade him, to be reborn under the name Abraxin.
All hail, Abraxin, the True Ascendant of War!
In a riveting clash of eloquence and intellect, the mortals of the Basin of Life engaged in a fierce contest of egos, vying for supremacy and the title of Sealbearer. Each participant, driven by the unyielding desire to prove their mettle, stood before their peers with words as their weapons and minds as their shields.
The first to take their places at the podiums were Romaan D'Varden of New Celest and Iazin Stormcrow of the Glomdoring Commune, both warriors of wit, ready to set the tone for the day's trial. The air crackled with anticipation as the duel of rhetoric commenced. Romaan, with a deftness of speech and clarity of thought, quickly outmaneuvered his opponent, delivering a series of verbal strikes that left Iazin reeling.
As the challenge unfolded, the participants relentlessly championed their causes, each seeking to stake their claim upon the coveted Seal of Justice. Hours turned to a blur of impassioned discourse, as the day wore on and the sharpness of thought began to dull with fatigue. Yet, amidst the waning light, two formidable minds from the Serenwilde Commune remained standing - Lendren Starfall and Huskii Myeras, poised for a final confrontation.
With the dawning sun casting its golden rays upon Mount Avechna, the time for reckoning arrived. In a display of unwavering resolve and brilliance, it was Lendren Starfall who ascended with the sun, securing both the Seal of Justice and their rightful place among the greatest minds of the Basin of Life.
