Absolutely loved the 50th. LOVED. The only time where a bunch of police boxes flying around looks epic instead of hokey.
Everiine is a man, and is very manly. This MAN before you is so manly you might as well just gender bend right now, cause he's the manliest man that you ever did see. His manly shape has spurned many women and girlyer men to boughs of fainting. He stands before you in a manly manerific typical man-like outfit which is covered in his manly motto: "I am a man!"

I must have watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit dozens of times as a kid but never realized it was a masterpiece until now.
I used to make cakes.

Estarra the Eternal says, "Give Shevat the floor please."

So I just got an order from my boss to, quote, "Scare the shit out of children." in order to raise money.

I love my job, when it doesn't try to kill me with its low attic ceiling.

The divine voice of Avechna, the Avenger reverberates powerfully, "Congratulations, Morkarion, you are the Bringer of Death indeed."

You see Estarra the Eternal shout, "Morkarion is no more! Mourn the mortal! But welcome True Ascendant Karlach, of the Realm of Death!

• Weekend with the boyfriend was amazing. The fact that I have a boyfriend is amazing. Happy Happy, now back to lusternia.
Mysrai, the Beckoner Beyond the Maze intones, "Continue to manifest the paradigm of working, My Alary."
The Divine voice of Camus the Cinderfly echoes in your head, "Thank you, once-body. I am happy that I fell into that eye."

Side note: what am I doing with my life?

• Was given a work assignment that seemed pretty impossible on Friday. Gathered my strength over the weekend and kicked the hell out of the assignment today. Finished in a day, and it is a totally awesome piece of UI and code that will hopefully dazzle the management and CEO. Monday isn't so bad when you can start your week like that :)
image
You have received a new honour! Congratulations! On this day, you have shown your willingness to ensure a bug-free Lusternia for everyone to enjoy. The face of Iosai the Anomaly unfolds before you, and within you grows the knowledge that you have earned the elusive and rare honour of membership in Her Order.
Curio Exchange - A website to help with the trading of curio pieces in Lusternia.
• Isn't -so- bad, but Mondays still suck in general.
• KarlachKarlach God of Kittens.
It's taken 2 excel spreadsheets, and 3 different playthroughs totalling 119 hours and 3 minutes.

But I've finally found the min/max formula for my Fire Emblem 3DS team.. now to level it up -.-

A lot of times I find Dr. Who tiresome because the "rules" can be rewritten every episode and the stakes are always so high they become meaningless. This was one of the few times the peril and resolution felt earned and I really enjoyed it too.  :)

Plus Matt Smith and David Tennant play really well off each other.

• Letting one of the kids I teach skip ahead to the section test for doing so well on her work, and watching her eyes light up with excitement.

Which was adorable, as she's a cute child. But also, my company has apparently managed to convince some of the children that taking a math test is a reward... and that's awesome.
"Chairwoman," Princess Setisoki states, holding up a hand in a gesture for her to stop and returning the cup. "That would be quite inappropriate. One of the males will serve me."

A little late to the party, I know, but I got Disgaea for $5. If you don't see me around Lusternia for a while I'm probably neck deep in an item world.

... Curse you, Daraius!

*opens up the safe that contains my copy of Disgaea, vanishing entirely*

• Woo! I don't have any family or friends practically, so I'm actually placing in this greathunt. I think.

Which Disgaea? If it's 4 we can have pirate battles!

Also, my rave: Getting drunk while still having access to Lusternia wasn't as disastrous as it could have been, not by a long shot. The forums, however...

Man, I wish you could edit for more than an hour after the fact. :(

Edit: oh dear god you can thank you
The Necromentate's mind opens to you, and a grotesque, demonic figure appears in your mind's eye, screaming in torment:
"THE DEMON LORDS CAN NEVER TRULY BE KILLED - GREAT IS THEIR POWER."

You shock a platinum-coloured geomycus with tales of terror bestowed on villages who don't follow Magnagora.
A platinum-coloured geomycus slaps her knee and declares that, by the gods, Ptoma Hive should follow the Grand Empire of Magnagora after all!
Shouts rise up from Ptoma Hive, as its denizens loudly pledge themselves to the Grand Empire of Magnagora.

• I have 1-3! Though I don't have a PS3 anymore...

Last day at my old job. Bittersweet, in ways.

I'm actually lucky that I didn't get sent home early, as it got so slow at one point in the middle that we were down to a skeleton crew. It did pick up like mad later, though.

Most of you won't know what this is, but for those that do...

     War damn eagle!

Edit for those that don't know - Auburn's amazing win in the Iron Bowl

The original picture of Turnus is still viewable here, again by Feyrll.

Just the original, I think. Hour of Darkness. Didn't know anything going into it except that you could have really high level characters, but for $5 in PSN how could I pass it up.

Now it consumes me.

I have Disgaea 4, but I never got around to downloading the update - on my meagre data cap it takes up a massive chunk of it.   So I only play offline.

• Rave?  There might finally stop making The Fast and the Furious movies.

Unfotunately, somebody (Paul Walker) had to die for that to happen.

I've never seen any of his movies, but I mourn the loss of a very, very sexy gentleman.

Also rave for ice cream, I feel like I haven't had it in forever. Mrmgrhgrh so good at 2am.

With a deep reverb, Contemptible Sutekh says, "CEASE YOUR INFERNAL ENERGY, ERITHEYL."
• Hmm. Disgaea 1, 2, 3, 4, a well as a couple of similar titles.

Caught Catching Fire with the family, and it was pretty good. If I hadn't already read the books, the end would have surprised the hell out of me.
RIP Mags. You rocked.
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
• Yeah, I just saw Catching Fire on Friday night with my folks too.  Good adaptation IMO.  Excellent performance by Phillip Seymour Hoffman.  Also enjoyed Jennifer Lawrence and Woody Harrelsen as always.

• Modem arrived just now for my super fast fibre connection. No more shitty 300ms pings!

This pleases me immensely.
• Had my first driving lesson after a long pause and didn't stall the engine once (though that was probably due to my instructor managing the pedals most of the time...).

And I am also a bit less afraid of driving now, since I my new instructor doesn't yell at me but is very calming instead.
