2 per day. Which for some people is just one skillset split into two parts. You then cannot swap trades, swap other skills etc, which is limiting for certain classes who want to swap to a completely different spec and can't because they need to flex more than 2 specific skills.
Then the number should be raised higher for non-tradeskills, not limitless, because that would be too abuseable, but perhaps 4?
But the cost shouldn't change.
How can it be abusable with the current drawbacks?
No really, tell me how unlimited no lesson cost flexing with a 1k credit artifact, in the current way skills and skillflexing works, is "abusable".
The divine voice
of Avechna, the Avenger reverberates powerfully, "Congratulations,
Morkarion, you are the Bringer of Death indeed."
You see Estarra the Eternal shout, "Morkarion is no more! Mourn the mortal! But welcome True Ascendant Karlach, of the Realm of Death!
Because when you hit your limit that's it, you can't even spend lessons to flex further. There's people who can at any one time swap 3-4 skillsets (having half skillsets doesn't help) in and out.

Nah, as far as I know, everyone is limited in the same way. If one full skill or two spec skills are not enough, the limit should be raised for everyone, not just for cord users, because non cord users are also affected. I don't flex much, so I don't know.
No, the limit is applied everywhere, cord or not. The only thing the cord does is make skillflexing not cost lessons; everything else is equal to everyone.
I maintain the primary reason many of us bought the cord has been removed and its price should go down.
You want to encourage trade? Lower the price of the cord to a more reasonable level. Otherwise you are paying ALOT for something as minor as trades.
I am debating asking for a full refund, how often do you see me using trades? I lived before it, and I think 1000 credits can buy alot more than swapping trades.
You did not ONLY pay 1000 credits for the item, you also went without every other thing the 1000 credits could have bought. Opportunity costs still play a roll.
I'm guessing more like "enter ship1;shiptells;exit ship1;enter ship2;shiptells;exit ship2". I'm guessing that's why shiptells don't exist. That, and the fact that shipt is limited to that ship only, unlike clantells or citytells etc. which can be seen across planes.
Yeah, I was fully expecting that it might be hugely difficult or impossible to code (especially with Ships) but I thought it was worth mentioning it anyway
I feel like ships would be easier than squads (since squads get created / disbanded regularly) whereas the ship sticks around. You also wouldn't be able to get on a ship, check the tells, and get off; you can't even talk on SHIPT without getting on a module (requiring perms) or being GRID JOINed.
As such, SHIPTELLS would just need to check the log of whichever ship you are currently joined to.
Edit: "Just". That would still be a huge number of additional logs to keep.
Second stealing Aetolia's bug changes. Assuming Lusternia is running off of the same system they were, and I don't see why it wouldn't be, I imagine implementing some of those methods would make Iosai and co's lives a lot easier. Then again, the couple of times I've bugged something, it seems like it's classified within the day, and typically attacked if it's something important.
How does gmcp.Room.Players handle shrouded players and dementia?
Not sure about dementia, but there are basically three parts to Room.Players; there's one message for seeing a player enter, one for seeing a player leave, and one for listing those in the room. All three work off of what you see, so shrouded people won't trigger the enter and leave messages, although they will show up on the list if you've got thirdeye. Transversing will show up whether or not they're shrouded though, since you always see people transversing.

I'd be interested in knowing how it works for dementia, then.
Squad and shiptells might not actually be that hard.
It would be alot like normal TELLS. It makes a personal list of the last 10-20, which changes each time you HEAR the mssage (you dont read old ones like CTELLS, you only see things you were involved in).

Also, we should steal some of the awesome recent changes to the Aetolia bug system for our bug system during the overhaul.
