Thanks for whoever got the vault message in! Really appreciated. :)

I was wondering if beast climbing trees could be changed to work like how beast burrowing and flying currently work, where you just have to use the base-command. Right now we need to use 'order <beast> climb up', which means we need to make context sensitive aliases (or multiples) for if we're in the trees and mounted or not for whatever reason. It's a small quality of life change and doesn't actually change how the ability works.
  • Druids who choose Shamanism sacrifice a lot so they can have weather effects in their demesne.  Right now, Shamans cannot use their tertiary at all indoors, as weather cannot be manipulated indoors, even when in your own demesne.

This doesn't seem right, as there are places which don't have weather (some aetherbubbles, for example).  In those places, you can't manipulate the weather.  However, you can imprint your weather pattern into your demesne upon the aetherbubble, allowing you to manipulate the weather in your demesne.

Since all of Shamanism (including most of the active skills and some envisions) requires weather and a specific weather pattern, can we allow Shamans to imprint weather into their demesne when their demesne is indoors?  It's kind of like how Astrologers can't use meteor indoors... but they can still use all the other Astrology skills.  Shamans can't do that :(

For the sake of Gripping, can we please be allowed to sheathe/draw whips?

The divine voice of Avechna, the Avenger reverberates powerfully, "Congratulations, Morkarion, you are the Bringer of Death indeed."

You see Estarra the Eternal shout, "Morkarion is no more! Mourn the mortal! But welcome True Ascendant Karlach, of the Realm of Death!

Would be pretty sweet, though it's annoying relax grip and grip take no balance so a quick alias works... but I really want to be able to sheathe/draw whips.

Now I have the battle theme from FF8 with Quistis' whip cracking noise at the start of every fight in my head.

    This must be done.

There should be scaling titles for organisations based on aetherflare success the same way there is for revolts.

What do you mean by scaling tithes? Are you referring to the conquest feelings generated?

I couldn't disagree more though, if you're suggesting something along these lines. It should become more difficult to maintain your holdings, the more you have, not less. Given the benefit of constructs, holding aetherbubbles should cost power instead of generating it, like they used to. Bring back the use for auronispheres!

There should be scaling power and resource cost for organisations who own multiple bubbles.

It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.

Scaling in which sense, and if you had village power and resources scale in the same way, sure.

Allow the command OFFER ESTEEM to offer whatever esteem is in your prompt/person.

Sometimes, you might just want to show a little acknowledgement to a god for whatever reason, and it might be nice to not to have to transfer esteem to a new figurine that you are going to immediately offer anyways. Figurines would still be highly desirable for convenience (finding a shrine every time your prompt esteem maxes out would get tedious), for selling, and for offering large, amplified amounts. Requiring one to offer at all feels slightly excessive, though.
  • We should get rid of the vote rating from TOPGUILDS. It serves no real purpose anymore except assert how numbers can be skewed.
  • Constructs used to have costs to maintain. When weakenings were removed that was changed, now they all generate power.

  • IDEA: Making the non-targeted ITCH emote NOT scratch my balls. God damn typos make things awkward!

You read what is written on an elegant white letter:
    Dear young adventurer,

I found these as I was walking past a shaded woodland recently and it seems they belong to you. You should be more careful with what you're holding! If you die or quit with certain things simply held in your hands (such as herbs or gold), you may drop them. You should always INRIFT your herbs and commodities and store gold in a pack. Once you reach level 31 or higher, people such as I will not return anything you drop when you die or leave the realms. They will be lost to you forever, so be careful from now on!

    Kind regards,
       A conscientious traveller.

While I can appreciate the understanding nature this letter has for true newbies, are the OOC references really conducive to the roleplay intensity that we try to maintain in Lusternia? The reference at the end to leaving the realms is excellent, so why can't the rest of it be similar?

For the sake of preserving the ease of understanding, can we perhaps change it to something like "leave the realms (quit)" and "the 31st circle of experience (level)" (which would doubly serve to introduce newbies to these terms)?

    Tonight amidst the mountaintops
    And endless starless night
Singing how the wind was lost
    Before an earthly flight

  • Somewhere I read that it's IC to refer to levels as "levels."  I can't remember where, but I'm looking for it.
  • Not sure if this would be a simple idea or not, but... Add in aetherspace coords in GMCP? We already have the room coords there, so putting the aetherspace coords in there instead while you're in a ship that's flying around seems simple to me (although granted, it could be far more complex than I realise).

Tiny, tiny thing. When you automatically unlink from dross, there's a period where you can't relink to the nexus. I was wondering if we could remove that in this case. I think it just carries over from the general cooldown from when you link and unlink too fast.

Is there a way to reference the cookies from ur'traps by type?

Targeting them by small / large / huge does not seem to work, and trying to price 94 of the things individually seems like a bother.

    Fantastic!
However, would it be possible to rift them as well?
Especially since now they are group-able, and the fact that they don't decay, I personally don't see a reason why we can't treat them like Golden Tonics and Rift Them

This doesn't appear to be true - at least, I couldn't replicate it.
