Maybe, just maybe, you'll get a random free honours line one of these days.
Viravain, Lady of the Thorns shouts, "And You would seize Me? Fool! I am the Glomdoring! I am the Wyrd, and beneath the cloak of Night, the shadows of the Silent stir!"
I think you will find that the tankiest of tanky players all walk around with a truefavour nearly perpetually, if not two or more.
I'm sorely tempted to start offering to enemy divine. Any god that actively truefavours would make me very happy for a long, long time. Seren's haven't for ages now.

Shikari and Nocht pay both handsomely and frequently.
Just think of it as the first step in bringing you wayward Stormcrows back into the family fold in Glomdoring.
Alternatively, spin the wheel a few hundred times, that's a year long TF right there.
The divine voice

You see Estarra the Eternal shout, "Morkarion is no more! Mourn the mortal! But welcome True Ascendant Karlach, of the Realm of Death!

Yes. What you gonna do about it?
Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.

Stealing is a terrible word, I prefer repossess.
Stealing would be our plans to bring Anita to Glom, this is about having Stormcrows where they belong!

But I've been mostly inactive and haven't published anything in ages! I don't actually have any idea what scholarly thing that refers to!
EDIT: Serves me right for not logging in and looking things up before posting. Apparently this is a rave for a scholarly win and that apparently counting as publishing for family honor.
Any sufficiently advanced pun is indistinguishable from comedy.
People can say what the will about it, but man I am so loving Mag these days. It's been awhile since we held onto so many things at once, I think Morvior was the last Warlord we had that made it to Emperor(we used to always rip on him for having to call him 'the Dread Emperor'), if things keep going our way Nym will be the next . Also, I haven't had four constructs to keep up since before Akyaevin took a break after his Ascension. Our Domoth decline went in around that time as well, so you know its been awhile.
The thing I'm digging the most is that we've honestly not been handed anything by the alliance shift or had to be carried at all lately(if even at all period). Mork used to pick at me about wondering if Mag would be able to carry its own weight, and I think we do a damn good job of it. Being on the losing end consecutively always has a negative effect and I remember long months of Mag just being a ghost town, it is refreshing to see upwards of 20 citizens at any given time, consistently and with a lot of those being new people who WANT to help out and learn things. I haven't felt true enjoyment in playing in awhile, because as I said in Nydekion's thread about VA's; when things go wrong a lot of time in conquests for Mag, someone always seems to want to point at me for not being there or doing enough. Even if some of those comments are people messing around, it still put a burden on me.
I'm by no means God's gift to Magnagora, but for a while there I felt like if I didn't do something or organize something, it was either going to get overlooked or botched. Logging in to 3 villages won for us, and logging in and seeing Thoros and Ixion holding down domoths that went free one night really gave me a shot in the arm. To win, someone has to lose, and the game finally shifted our way. Even if it only lasts another month, I think the effects on the city may very well last the rest of the year.
To end this longwindedness of mine, I just want to say GOODJOB Magnagora, every day you prove that no single person is the lynch pin to keeping the city stabilized. We do great because we have some amazing people who come together as one, end of story.
I think the best part of the upswing is precisely that. It's -everyone- joining in and turning up to things. Not just the combatants, not just the 'elite', but even people who are a little bit hopeless. And they're enjoying it and feeling a measure of pride in the whole process, so maybe they'll try to keep it up even when we experience the downswing again.
Rave for discovering Astrology Ephemeris. I was wondering when somebody would put the work together to get the transit periods down and it's fantastic even though the subnote concerning diamond vibrations and seconds contradicts horrible with the piece cited due to using 2400 minute days instead of 60 minute ones. I knew I shoulda joined the Institute all those years ago.

Woo!! 110th honors! That was pretty long and tedious to solo 100% of, but the final fight was pretty fun and slightly challenging!
