  Could always toss it into the banks, but since that'll only ever lose you money I don't bother. I just prefer to think that tark's backpack is constantly threatening bursting at the seams. Inventory, in general, is a fairly abstract system when it comes to weight. Print corpses some time, should be collapsing after grabbing one.

  No, I think everyone just politely ignores the oddities of INV. How are you carrying fifteen 2000 pound mammoth corpses and still managing to sip from one of your two dozen vials without dropping your hundreds of thousands of individual gold sovereigns? Best not to think about it.

  Personally, I try to get my holding inv as small as possible. If I could somehow keep my wearing inv down as well that would be great (hint hint let us buy custom artifacts that can combine artifacts, that make some sense, into one)
  
  As for gold, I look at it as the name of thing currency and we may have '1 million gold' on hand, but actually have various bills of different sizes. And that everything is magically converted on the fly so there is no need to make change.

  In a game universe where everyone has access to personal dimensional pockets on the fly, I always figure Inv is actually a low-rent hammerspace that everyone just knows how to use, same as they automatically know the name and title of everyone they see. So no one is actually holding anything, unless they want to be, and everybody is just super used to people pulling crap out of nowhere.
  
  Satchels and Backpacks are likewise modified Bags of Holding, with limited slots but otherwise infinite capacity.
  

  The purpose of writing is to inflate weak ideas, obscure pure reasoning, and inhibit clarity. With a little practice, writing can be an intimidating and impenetrable fog!
