@Blaeke - 'mmsetup sp' will get you started with that - as a note, warriors are no longer affected by stance, so only need to stance for monks, but m&m determines stance by how wounded a part is and monks no longer wound, so at this point, I'd just set it and move as necessary - I'm waiting for the monk overhaul before messing with stancing at all - it's probably a minor deal anyway
@Xanward - no, it's a game issue and not a system issue. It hasn't happened to me personally, but it's happened to others.
Hello. I desperately need your guys' help. I'm going INSANE.
So, Mudlet randomly decided to delete all of my settings except a few of my triggers when I restarted my computer. I deleted everything, uninstalled all packages and loaded a backup.
Then.. this weird drop-down menu showed up:
Right now it says 'Templar mm', but a few minutes ago it simply had the character 'i'. I have no idea what caused it to change.
The bar remains even when I disable every trigger/alias/script/button I can find. When I click the drop down menu, the only thing that happens is a little grey pixel appears at the bottom left of the menu. In other words, there are no other options to choose.
Argh!
edit: sorry, posting my problem here because I don't know if it's a mmf issue or not
edit2: ok, I fixed it. I'm not sure exactly how I did, but I did.
I uninstalled the old version from Package Manager, and reinstalled m-mf.v6 (the ur'Guard version). Yet when I start it up, I still get the "Loaded & ready to go, version 5," and my ice lines aren't working. Am I doing something wrong?

Just in case, uninstall M&M, close down and restart Mudlet, reinstall M&M, and close down and restart Mudlet one last time.

I was finally able to make this work. I may be misguided, but this is what seemed to be going on:
To get it to work, you need both the zip file and the unzipped folder. You "install" the zipped file, and then it asks you for a folder, at which point you pick the unzipped one. I suspect I was having problems before because I was using a v6 zip file, but it was still directing back to a v5 folder.
So I noticed ndb apparently has an issue with retired characters, and won't remove them from the queue of new people it has to check so it keeps looking them up everytime I look at gwho or whatever. It's a really minor issue and I'd prefer not to just delete them from ndb because I was making use of it for that stuff I was doing with elections. Is there any fix for this?
There's a line you can add. I think someone posted it upthread.
Does the mmupdate prios command still work to fix prios to a workable default? That would be helpful for people having priority issues who aren't necessarily wanting/able to wade into priority fiddling.
So, while trying to set up the autobasher for influencing I had this happen.
I don't know anything about coding, and my gut tells me it's a pretty simple fix, so any guidance on what to do would be appreciated!
Edit: Also, while using the autobasher, it requires me to manually stand. Is that normal?
The Necromentate's mind opens to you, and a grotesque, demonic figure appears in your mind's eye, screaming in torment: "THE DEMON LORDS CAN NEVER TRULY BE KILLED - GREAT IS THEIR POWER."
You shock a platinum-coloured geomycus with tales of terror bestowed on villages who don't follow Magnagora. A platinum-coloured geomycus slaps her knee and declares that, by the gods, Ptoma Hive should follow the Grand Empire of Magnagora after all! Shouts rise up from Ptoma Hive, as its denizens loudly pledge themselves to the Grand Empire of Magnagora.
So - I can't really answer your questions about this because that's from a package Chade made for bashing and isn't actually part of m&m. Chade used the m&m echos and stuff, so it's confusing, but I'm unfamiliar with the script
Other people may be able to answer you, but I just didn't want you to think you were being ignored.
I've noticed that I'm spamming APPLY ICE TO WOUNDS and auto-diag-ing at literally every EQ recovery.
I obviously want to diag when the system thinks I should, but I went for over 30 seconds without attacking in the arena because of the diag spam. What can I do to remove the ice-spam and diag spam?
Also, Synk, in regard to you answer earlier about restorative ice priorities, I was having trouble understanding the priorities queue. Does it automatically start at highest priority?

Thanks for the reply! I suppose I'll dig around and see if I can't come up with the solution myself. Which, admittedly, I'd been trying already, but...
Unless you could recommend a different autoinfluencer? I cobbled one together myself in MUSH but m&mf is so goooooood I don't want to go back to MUSH now.

Here's the changelog, a few big changes that should be nice
Thanks to @Vadi for fixing the login issue, the system will pause and auto-unpause upon logging in for people
Classflexing functionalty has been added.
A new table has been added - mm.me.activeskills.
This will update on forgetting a skill or checking AB (it doesn't currently activate on activating a skill because no gmcp event occurs during this, I bugged it, so if they add the gmcp update, it'll change)
when it updates, if a new active skill is added, it'll fire the event 'm&m add skill' with the skillset as the argument if a skill is removed, it'll fire event 'm&m remove skill' with again the skillset as the argument.
A new config option 'autohide' has been added - it will automatically hide inactive skills from deflist etc. when enabled
These events can be used to adjust defense, configs, skills whatever your fancy is. It's obviously most useful for the allclass system, but can be used for flexing tertiaries as well on any single class system
All the -chem/-woods have been added to allclasses (they were missing before, whoops)
health, sparkle, lucidity, ice, wafer and steam balances (as well as beast balance) have been added to work with gmcp.
Wondercorn defense have been added (wondercornhp, wondercornmp, wondercornego, wondercorndam, wondercornres, wondercornbal, wondercorneq).
they will work on defup/keepup
Genies have been added (redgenies, bluegenies, yellowgenies). The old defline defs were removed (curiohp, curiomp, curioego) and these added to be more clear. This is just for the vitals blessings, not pulling the items from them. These also work with defup/keepup
Various deflines have been added (hair curio, gestalts, solstice candies maybe more)
Does Lusternia post anywhere when they update their GMCP API? I didn't realize that the new curatives' balances were added to GMCP.Char.Vitals. Would be cool to have a heads-up about stuff like that.

If you put a trigger before m&m you could probably substitute the text to be whatever you wanted it to be.
Just in case, uninstall M&M, close down and restart Mudlet, reinstall M&M, and close down and restart Mudlet one last time.

Couple other fixes as well
Otherwise, nice release! Nice job!
