  This kind of henna/lace piping is something I've only tried one other time, and it was white-on-white so I was able to just wipe away the buttercream if I made a mistake or a line I didn't like. Eggplant-on-white is another animal altogether, and an unforgiving one at that, so there's about a million lines I would have adjusted if I could.

  Yeah I still do cupcakes too. Hardly high art, but I thought these were weird and cute. It's always strange to try and replicate a character in cupcake form. We do it a lot with Sesame Street characters and other muppets. It's especially weird when the character isn't something I'm familiar with. Maw, anyone?
