At this point a lot of us have some form of confirmation on our abilities and or roles. I'm generally willing to trust them.
@Othero is hugely unknown (unless I've missed a lot and I could be mis-remembering, I need coffee) and I find that troubling.
I took the pagoda last night, and it has enough charge for one more use, and I luckily know how to use it. @Siam was (thankfully) not lying about its power. I'm still not sure why @Yarith didn't clear Siam once he got the pagoda, I'll give benefit of the doubt about knowing how it was used because I had to ask Kira exactly what it does.
VOTE OTHERO: I think the sneaky lurker needs to come out of hiding.
Now that I have clarification, my echo shield wears off at days end. I'd like to go ahead and weave an echo shield around myself! I was hoping infinite echo shields of varying strengths around people (because that'd be hilarious) but oh well.
I'd also like to know why Synkarin's ability didn't work on me - but I'm going to guess that's because of whoever else visited me. I don't know what either person did, merely that I was visited by two people. Were there any other credible protector/doctor/specialist claims other than Siam|Falmiis?
(I'm the mom of Hallifax btw, so if you are in Hallifax please call me mom.)

"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
I'm really really really strong. I get a plus 3 to all fights against lasers, I have strong cards and a strong last word, It takes a super majority to vote me off, but I can't actually challenge people to card fights. I'm the strongest yokai but I'm polite and I don't want to hurt people unless the provoke me.

Honestly, I don't buy that claim. Fortunately, it's easy to prove. Attempt to challenge someone, and we'll see for sure that you can't.
Also, that claim would mean that you are essentially useless to town, since the only way to make use of your power is if scum were to challenge you.

The super majority to vote off is what seems odd to me.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
Othero already claimed Yuuka, way back when, right? He did express surprise at losing a duel to someone or other too, so that part matches up.
Also he did go after Tamashi pretty strongly, so at the very least we know he's probably not the Taoist convert, barring a weird recruitment mechanic where he never knew who recruited him?

I do think if Othero attempts a duel, we see the result of that attempt, and it matches up with what he said, we can leave him alone for now. Part of me was curious particularly since he brought up not wanting to lynch Iosion the day Iosion was not lynch-able, so I wondered if he had knowledge we don't.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
Well, we could go the route of trying to lynch him too. Pile on enough votes for a simple majority and see what happens.
Or, we could do both. I like both. I also kindof want to duel him to see if he actually have no powers to give, although that in and of itself doesn't prove anything; he could still have a power that I can't copy.
To be specific it's 66% to vote me off. It's not that weird to consider when you realize that there are ways to effect how many votes someone needs. I'm also not willing to challenge someone, though I will fight Ssaliss if I'm challenged. There's some vague hints at bad things if I challenge so I'd rather not.
Ssaliss challenges Ushaara By now, everyone knows Ssaliss's exploding familiars like they know the back of their own hand, so all attention during the fight is focused upon Ushaara and his spellcard "Flower of a Lost Soul".From his spellcard, a red spider lily grows from seed to bloom in a matter of seconds, and the crown of the flower bursts into a soft violet light from which a storm of flower petals aimlessly drifts towards Ssaliss. It's clearly a spellcard that emphasises beauty, though there's an astonishing amount of power in each drifting petal. But it doesn't matter how beautiful they are. They're still not enough to beat Ssaliss's explosions. One of the familiars manage to get in close enough to explode near the flower, taking it out in a burst of light and power and through this claim victory. Ssaliss has won the challenge. Ushaara will be slightly easier to lynch
Tremula challenges Vivet Just like Ssaliss, Tremula relies on the same old trick she's always used for her spellcard duels. Vivet on the other hand presents an entirely new card. When she calls out the name, a firey red portal appears, and through that a blur of orange and black appears. It's only there for a moment as it flows into another portal, and each time the figure lands into a portal, the portal releases a burst of bullets that Tremula has to weave between to avoid. The frequency of the tiger assaults increase rapidly, but still not fast enough for Tremula. After a few close calls, she manages to get close enough to Vivet and from there reflect almost the entire burst of a portal back into her, claiming victory. Tremula has won the challenge. Vivet will be slightly easier to lynch
Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.
If you do get the census, I think you should just I use it right away. With the stumping rule and the reveal that most of the scum are likely recruits, which I think means even a coroner won't be able to identify them unless we get the other godfather, the census is really our most definitive tool for checking scum status. It'll be good to get a point to compare to since it's likely they've hit their max size by now
There's some vague hints at bad things if I challenge so I'd rather not.
Huh. You already initiated a challenge beforehand though, no? With Luce, I think? I can't quite recall. Or was it the other way around and they were the challenger?

According to the Touhou Google doc floating around, Othero was challenged by Tamashi, but I see no other duel records. I'm inclined to think Othero was not in the same coterie as Tamashi due to how all that went down.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
Ah, right, it was Tamashi. Thanks for looking it up for me! Sorry, I've been more preoccupied than not lately myself, and it makes it hard to focus on what's going on in the game.
Well, I should get the power straight away, but if it's not a daypower, I can't use it during the day (obviously; for instance, I can use Vivet's kill during the day, but not Yarith's jailing). I didn't get a power though, but checking with Kira to see if it's just a slip or if he had no power to give me.
Coroner is night only, Census can be used whenever I believe, and Other power is night only.
But yes, even if you don't copy a power I think I'll go ahead with the census after your confirmation of slip or not.
Strange you didn't get a power though, since while coroner/census share X-shot, my other power is separate. So there are 2 or 3 powers you could have ended up with from me, depending on how census/coroner is counted.
Did I just walk into a trap and get marked? How many powers can you have copied at a time?
No idea, haven't asked Kira about it. I can only use one power at a time though, so there's a soft limit of sorts. There's no reason for me to stockpile powers that I don't really see myself using regularly (which is why I never challenged Sylandra again).
And no, no trap. No marking. It would also be a weird mechanic for an arsonist, since it'd be obvious when the bomb went off that it was linked to duels and who the marker was.
Just thought of something. If there's still doubt about me copying powers, I can jail Othero this coming night. He doesn't have any abilities anyway (at least of his own admission), so there'd be no real effect. Tomorrow we'd know that I had jailed him.
The other options is that I use Sylandra's ability (although given that she has asked me not to, I won't without her consent) or use my Vivet kill (which, y'know... yeah). Jailing seems to be the best option to me, at least.
Was really hoping for getting another census out of this, because I wasn't sure using the census right now would be the best use of the one shot that's left, but I suppose that's up to Ushaara.
I'm still betting that we had two Godfather's who could recruit, and then a third loner, presumably an arsonist, at the start. Assuming that Tamashi got one before lynch, and the other has recruited 2 by now, I think the Census would turn up 5 saboteurs at the moment. Though that's assuming that neither Kalaneya or Siam were recruited.
