Glad you enjoyed yourself @Arimisia. I think at this point I'm washing my hands of Ascension events, because that was possibly one of the worst experiences I've ever had and really did nothing to encourage me to want to participate in Lusternian events in the future. Good luck to any Mag participants going forward, but I will make sure to be scarce during the posted Challenge times from here on out.
I have played this game for 11 years now, it has taken me many years to even start placing in ascension events and it was not for the lack of trying either. Chaos was my event to place in and later.. War simply because certain person kept pulling me into it, that is totally not my event btw. I influence all the time and have invested a lot of time into it even before this, there is a lot more I can/needed to do to have been better but that his in hindsight, I was not planning on doing harmony. Just don't give up @Esca, have to find that nich and then just practice at every turn you get. This case influencing you can do at any time so its more exploration and finding those hard to get places and how you can get there quickly, how you can influence that denizen as quickly as humanly possible and then poof out to the next target. Also, who knows, you may be better at something else have you tried any of the other events?
The soft, hollow voice of Nocht, the Silent resounds within your mind as His words echo through the aether, "Congratulations, Arimisia. Your mastery of vermin cannot be disputed."

Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
You know what makes a great CL? A great commune! So another rave right back to you, and to everyone who has made Glomdoring such a great place to be/play.
Raves to @Aeldra and @Ymuli for the awesome RP and putting up with a slightly confused and scatterbrained Aerdureth. Though now that she has wings, she'll probably get lost even more often...or misplace things at locations which she couldn't reach before. Or endlessly sing about the sky...though that might die down after a bit maybe.

That hilarious moment when you discover @Aeden also likes top 40s pop music and you both burst into song together on the OOC clan because you get each other's references.

The shadows across the Basin of Life whisper with cawing voices, praising Dylara's trick upon the inhabitants of the Hifarae Hills in raucous chorus.
It has taken so so very long to complete this. Thank you so much to those that helped me get it.
Avurekhos says, "Dylara's a PvP menace in my eyes, totes rekting face."
The eye of Dylara materialises in your hands and flings itself around your neck, tightening incomprehensibly until it is irremovable. Perfectly clean, this eyeball has been wrenched from the socket of Dylara. It has been animated by some unusual force, constantly looking around itself as if in shock or fear. It is bathed in a light covering of white flames that roll endlessly over its surface. A single chain of empyreal metal pierces either side of the eye, allowing it to be worn around the neck.
When a village revolts it becomes an open PK zone. It was possible to
create a meld stretching from outside the village on both sides. This
made the meld unbreakable without going into the PK restricted zone and
opening yourself up to avengering. I've made that no longer be possible:
your melds can no longer cross over the boundary of a liberated village
and outside a liberated village.
Holy shit. I figured this was a feature and not a bug. Amazing change.
This may be the easy fix, but I don't think it is the best fix. Would it be possible instead to just make it that if any part of a meld is in enemy territory it can be broken without declaring? Why? Because it happens elsewhere besides villages.
If someone is melding in enemy territory and then sticking break points in non-enemy territory - you should be able to hit them in enemy territory giving you the auto-declare to then break for free. So I'm not sure that's an issue.
Strategic breakpoints is all part of the strategy.
Then why isn't it the strategy in villages? Roark's posted rational was: "This made the meld unbreakable without going into the PK restricted zone and opening yourself up to avengering." I'm just saying it happens outside of villages as well.
Another option would be to just give the breaker the free autodeclare not only for hitting but for trying to break the meld at any point.
The Fingerblade of dha'Wyrden-cree materialises in your hands.
Shadows spill and boil out of your mouth, drizzling down over your lips and chin and pooling in your hands, which you have reflexively cupped. As the blood congeals, it forms into the Fingerblade of dha'Wyrden-cree.
You have completed Brother Crow's final task!
Finally!

Got to play around with a pseudo-syzygy in Skull (recklessness, stupidity, sensitivity, aeon). Managed well enough for our group of 4 against 6? northerners.
See you in Sapience.

Cyndarinused Flamethrower! It was super effective.
I loved those days. I'd grab a person or two and go wreck Seren for an hour.
So many amazing little Shadowdancers lately. @Averice@Radkarn@Sikris@Ulalah you are all absolutely fabulous and are making Lusternia such a joy for me right now. All the raves for you. All of them.

THEY CHANGED THE VERNAL CHILD FINALLY WOOOOO @TALAN THANKS FOR ACTUALLY BUGGING IT
Former: The small girl is asleep and oblivious to all around her. Her hair has been bleached of all colour and has grown so long that it covers her body like a cloak. Small alabaster wings are folded and plastered to her back. Her skin is a dusky gold and glows with an inner power. She wears an aged ivory necklace carved with interlocking links shaped like snow birds. Curled in a fetal position, she floats within a bubble of light.
