What, we're volunteering other players' secrets now?
Because Casilu and Gossip.
Viravain, Lady of the Thorns shouts, "And You would seize Me? Fool! I am the Glomdoring! I am the Wyrd, and beneath the cloak of Night, the shadows of the Silent stir!"
Tacita only took the An'Ryshe name recently to annoy Eliron. She is as uncomfortable with the notion of actually being one as Xenthos is about being a Shee-Slaugh. She is too stubborn to back down and admit this (it turns out stubbornness is catching).
Damn it, I knew it. My e-baby doesn't love me anymore! (
Related Character secret: Eliron has no idea how to relate to people born into the Shee-Slaugh who leave it. He's not mad at them, but his vision of the Shee-Slaugh is so integral to his self concept that he can't understand when it's not to someone else. When someone leaves, he feels like they become a completely different person than the one he thought he knew and so the relationship has to be rebuilt from scratch. He understands people who leave and come back even less.
Ankastra thinks that Fuzzyfluff is a fine, upstanding name for a rage worg, to strike fear into the hearts of her enemies, because her worg is seriously THAT awesome to be able to pull off such a name. Also because he is terribly fuzzy. And fluffy.
Shuwin has a fondness for all things porcine, owing to the bond he formed with his mighty boar steed, Pigpedo, during his Serenguard days. He would have gotten a pig instead of a nightmare had they not gone missing in the beastmastery era.
Kio really hates it when people bad-talk about the Gods, even if it's someone like Eventru or Mysrai. Sometimes it makes him wanna say something, but he's afraid people will judge him for his want to understand the rest of the Basin, not just Glomdoring.

Pig pets? :O Bring them back! Were the beasts sold in Acknor's now lonely stable?

EveriineWise Old Swordsbird / BrontaurIndianapolis, IN, USA
Ev literally would not know what he would do if he were ever kicked out of the Serenguard. He has almost no identity apart from his duty. There are nights he has nightmares about losing that identity, and they always end in death. It is his one true fear.
Everiine is a man, and is very manly. This MAN before you is so manly you might as well just gender bend right now, cause he's the manliest man that you ever did see. His manly shape has spurned many women and girlyer men to boughs of fainting. He stands before you in a manly manerific typical man-like outfit which is covered in his manly motto: "I am a man!"
Daraius said: You gotta risk it for the biscuit.
Pony power all the way, yo. The more Brontaurs the better.
Xiran used to feed Hinagar (Lady Lisaera's winged wolf) after her parents went inactive because she remembered Laysus feeding him steak. She got nostalgic over listening to Hinagar's predictable responses. (This was before Xiran was a Moondancer. Then she got confused when the three hidden valleys disappeared and god realms appeared, but Hinagar didn't return.)
Skye has developed a gambling habit. He's not stuck to the casino, but if he ever passes the Crystal wheel, he's happy to drop 5k gold on a spin or two or twenty-three. Twice within a decade he's lost a million gold in one sitting.
In other news: Harmony is the first value that's honestly Skye's own. He has valued the idea of change since before leaving the Portal, and always will, but that's actually on account of the influence of his bond with Tantisper, who is something of an entity of transience. That, along with being young and impressionable (plus various circumstances) led him to love Crow and all He is, but in his later years Skye has decided that he sees everything in Creation as equal, having all been derived from Yudhe. His recent major deleveling had the unforeseen consequence of stripping him of any personality that wasn't at the very middle of who he is. His love of Crow, among other things, was more of a surface trait, and his thoughts on Harmony had sunk their way in over the decades, so when all was said and done he was basically pro-transience (since Tantisper is still around), but also very much pro-Harmony, which is now his big to-do.
Agnlaa's single-minded devotion to Illith and the illithoid leaves her unable to care about... anything else, really. She tries to contribute enough to Magnagora through spectre-hunting and the like to cover up the fact that she only sees the city as a useful haven. When Glomdoring and Magnagora were at war, she would have had a very difficult decision to make if she had been ordered or forced to fight illithoid from the other side. Also, she's always been very uncomfortable with non-illithoid being allowed in the Ninjakari, but has kept this view to herself since most of the guild is non-illithoid. That actually didn't factor into her going to the Geomancers, though - she really does see Geochemantics as the best approach (currently) to furthering her eventual goal.
When Xeria entered the portal, she was little more than a cub who was a only few years pass the weaning stage. She's only seen 8 or 9 Summers. When she emerged, she was a teenager of 17 summers. It's been 7 Years since then, in terms of Mental age, she's just about 16 maybe 18, if and when her head's screwed on straight. (It devolves to 10 if it involves cake and rabbit pie. No Fox-kin worth their fangs can turn down a well cooked rabbit pie in her opinion. Any fox-kin who does is either an imposter or a herbivore)
As for how and why she entered the portal at the young age and why she spent so much time there....well best ask her yourself, in game! She's extremely Chatty and loves to talk the ear off anyone's who's willing. If you feed her cake and whiskey, She'll tell you!
Pretty sure it's not much of a secret to anyone, but Aislynn is very socially awkward. She generally says little to nothing in public unless someone starts a conversation of her. This is mostly due to her being overly self-conscious and caring far too much what people think of her.
Her biggest goal is to please Astraea and Celina. While she loves the Harbingers and the Glomdoring, she dedicates herself to them to make her family feel she's worthy of their pride.
At the same time, she's very self-conscious about being a Nightshade knowing most dislike the family.
Nalyriel is very shortsighted. That's why she sometimes talks to trees thinking they are people. But she'd never admit that. It's also the reason why she curtseys to nearly everyone since she is afraid of appearing rude if she didn't recognise an important person.
Corissai believes Shadowdancers and Night to be inferior to Blacktalon and Crow because they cannot physically spread the Wyrd, which is a vital part of the Age of Wyrden Supremacy in his mind. This belief is deepened whenever he sees @Celina being up on her dignity, as he feels that simple, humble service to the Wyrd is virtue and selfish egotism is a failing.
Maerad has a hopeless crush on a person she saw once who will almost certainly never truly exist, but could do.
(Isn't that an awful non-secret. Let's try again).
Tacita does not get drunk in the normal sense anymore, but if you feed her enough sugar she turns into a giggly pile of crazy. This is especially true when she is in her smaller race forms.
Zouviqil runs around barefoot and can be distracted from most conversations with sweets.
Edit: Also, after much discussion with Avurekhos, we've determined that his character is Pikachu and my character is Togepi from Pikachu's Summer Vacation. Relevant clip from the short!
Aerdiya is secretly afraid of thornbeasts since they were the first beings to kill her.
She also loves cooking, especially when lots of spices are involved, and plans to open a shop that only sells spicy (so spicy that you could use it as a weapon) food one day.
That being said....she's not very good at cooking but nevertheless loves sending food (mostly tea) to people.
Since she's not usually followed around, here's a new one:
Zouviqil will occasionally throw cakes into areas she knows she's not supposed to go into.
We've noticed.
( )
Though I will say when I saw one at my nest today I thought someone had dropped it there for my birthday. So I was seriously excited, then I found out they were just everywhere and felt less special
The divine voice
of Avechna, the Avenger reverberates powerfully, "Congratulations,
Morkarion, you are the Bringer of Death indeed."
You see Estarra the Eternal shout, "Morkarion is no more! Mourn the mortal! But welcome True Ascendant Karlach, of the Realm of Death!

I've been thinking about this for a long time, because it's hard to say things about Kio now without giving away his story. I think this is safe, though.
There is only one person in the entire Basin of Life that has ever, and probably will ever see Kio for who is really is.
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
During the Era of the Wounded Sky, Tetra was one of the mortals who released Zenos and were directly touched by his consciousness. Even after being banished, Zenos continued to maintain psionic communication with Tetra. This was due in part to repairing Mysrai's paradigms, as he had gone through ritual death in the Void to mend them - making him a sort of 'open channel'. Watching the citizens of Climanti die as Zenos devoured them, and trill across the Basin vilified, Tetra carried enormous guilt for decades. He joined Celest as a sort of penance, to clean up the mess he made.
I feel it's a significant moment that shaped the Basin's history, as it explored the interplay of time travel and one of many possible root causes(aside from Tzaraziko) for the millenial feud between Gaudiguch and Hallifax. Chade and Tetra were both on the Freedom Council at that time, and most if not all present were from the new cities. While it isn't really a high point, it's something that drastically shaped the roleplay in-game.
