Someone provided a ridiculous theory based on character personality in the movie when that person has never watched it and misinterpreted who that character is and everyone is very eager to support it. Probably because they have never watched the movie either and just want the easy overanalyzed explanation. I can see why you don't care about getting your character knowledge wrong.
I've already given you hints that if I die, you will lose another beneficial to the town. It was vague because I didn't want a useful character getting lynched on my behalf but I did want to save my lover for the town's sake. I've given hints that if I was Calcifer, I wouldn't be villainous because of my character's story in the movie. Despite the scum activity that occurred during the night when I wasn't able to actually do anything scummy I'm still being accused of scumminness, ignoring the fact that a scum died last night and another was targetted by a scum. So we are going to let the identity of those attackers go in favour of me who wasn't able to do anything because being jailed while scum activity is going on is actually more suspicious?
What's going to happen is you're going to waste @Ordassa and @Shaddus' powers for the second time.
Direct claims do happen. They give information to both the town (which is good) and scum (which is bad) so you have to weigh the benefits and drawbacks to decide if they're worth making.
Indirect allusions a generally a bad idea. They open up a lot of room for misinterpretation, and that's dangerous. They also encourage people to pry at them, which can dominate discussion and let other things sneak past. In some cases they even come across as being scummy, since it's a lot easier to backtrack on a vague hint than an explicit statement.
So, share information or don't. That's a judgment call based on whether you think the town or scum will benefit more from it, and how you think people will react to your decision. I can't even suggest that you go one way or the other, since I don't know how much information about your role and whatnot is worth. But I strongly advise you to pick one option or the other (for each piece of information. You can decide that some things are worth sharing and others aren't!) and going with it, cause dropping hints and hoping we get them will probably be worse than other options.

I'm told that Studio Ghibli films tend not to have clear villains. Assuming that's the case, the argument that Calcifer can't be an arsonist because he wasn't a villain in the film is questionable. People who are familiar with them should probably confirm or deny this.
Wiki also tells me that Howl (and I guess by extention Calcifer) opposed both sides in a war. At a thematic level, that screams third party roles to me. Third party arsonist is a common variant on a serial killer.
Any sufficiently advanced pun is indistinguishable from comedy.

@Portius I could buy third party arsonist, the part that getting me is that there are supposedly 2 of them? So are you thinking we have 2 small scum groups instead of 2 bigger one? That just doesn't make sense to me in a game of this size.

The jailer line was exactly the same thing @Shaddus described. We went for a ride which makes me think he is either Howl as the bird version or Haku as the dragon, swooping in on people to save em.

I can believe Naoko as a lovers role and think that I'm actually inclined to believe this claim. Considering that Yubaba's safe claim was from the same movie as her, I think it's a decent bet that other safe claims are likely going to be as well. If Saobutt has been telling the truth then he's another likely target for the mafia to go after now since he's a two for one deal.

I just did some research on Naoko and from what I learned, I'm going to believe Saobutt since she already implied that she was part of a lovers role. Naoko has a husband so he might be the second part of that role. He's some kind of eningeer specialised in planes which doesn't sound very scummy to me. If I recall correctly, there was a non-violent action a few nights ago that resulted in giving some sort of technology so it might me the power of the husband character. Sadly, I can't find the post at the moment so I don't know if I remembered it right (is there a way to search for certain words in a thread?).
