    These were just for fun, but I'd go wild if someone ordered a Ni No Kuni cake. Fondant, edible paint, and nonpareil eye sparkles. The mite is roughly an inch and a half from hair tuft to toes. :)

    These are amazing.

    I think my favorite one so far is the dog ipod cake, but the filigree stuff was really nice.

    These are the pics I promised on the 9th. In this series I showcase one of my new favorite things to do: scenery around the sides of a cake.

     I did everything on this one except the 3D train on top. Pardon the gross turntable underneath. I guess I was determined to make sure these pictures weren't share-worthy.

    I did everything except Buzz (er, well, I did Buzz's wings and backpack). I consider it kind of poor craftsmanship when the 'glue' is so visible, but since I made the furniture ahead of time, it dried flat and couldn't be laid flush with the cake. D'oh. I like the overall effect, but I'd rather not have seen huge globs of buttercream behind each piece!
