This present promotion is absolutely fantastic for anyone on the fence. Given, I spent a hefty chunk of $$$ so my present counter got pretty high, but I bought 60 presents worth and made more credits and dingbats off the presents than I did off the actual credit purchase. Roughly 250% increase from the usual credit purchase for me.
If you can hit a sweet streak of superior presents that are artifacts before you get your ultimate (my ultimate was a lame fire plane ring...pfffft), you can make a killing. It's almost as lucrative as the old wheel spins.

There is actually a way (something hidden in the room) to get out of the gas trap - not going to publicly broadcast what it is though (guessing from your log that you don't - or didn't - know what it is). Drop me a PM if you want to know what it is.

I was really wanting to make it to the wargames tomorrow (mostly to murder the Goon squad) but there's 6'3" blond haired blue eyed man candy inviting me to a pumpkin beer festival tonight, so I imagine I will not be able to make it tomorrow.
