But why not just have shop taxes for commune and city shops come out of a bank account? For auto payment. Or even out of the gold sitting in the shop.

What about an upgrade to manse stables where you can just toss a pile of gold in and it autopays for your beasts. Or pulls from a selected bank that you have money in.

Oh actually egregore appears better for influence but it is an order beast and thus would be rather tricky to acquire without joining the order and could gain you an enemy status from the order if you get one without being apart of the order.
