Celina, if you want to make the argument that weapon runes are unnecessary for Warriors, start naming names. Which warriors excel with no runes at all? I would be surprised if you can name many non-Cavaliers in the current age.
I like Leo's idea of a cheap alternative to the pliers too. It would work well if it either detached all runes from an item once, as Karlach suggests, or as an artifact that either has a set amount of uses or a short duration of use (an hour).
