I never heard of this either until I bugged it and got told that it was working as intended and had been for ages. It pre dates the gold changes by an age.

Tried it once, didn't like it.Too much competition from people who've done it a few times and have basically triggered it for trade in.If numbers are an issue and we want mechanics to help filter them out.
In additon to the normal timequakes you also have arena quakes. Basically normal timequakes but only three people from any one org can enter at a time…Timequakes and research seem to be working right so far. No isssues with the mechanic side of them atm. Yea I agree that a true new org would be better than just merging into an old one but just a concept if a total new org is 100% off the table.
