  • Hi I just wanted to clarify how the buffs will work to some extent.

As I understand it each guild will pick each project. Will the buffs be org wide once the project is completed or are we talking about the buffs being for each guild only?

  • Try not to turn this into personal attacks and more negativity please Maligorn. Don't bring the negativity here.
  • Motivation is a big part in that as well.

People are being pushed away from joining in because of negativity. When people are told not to bother that is a big discouragement.

Looking back on when we were outnumbered by a fair …

Yea if your retiring the artifact or changing it in a major way its pretty common to just offer full refund if people want.

Imperian did this when they went free to play as well.
  • Its a great idea for things like books, plays and designs.

You can just tag on the director, writer and designer straight on.   Would love to see this.

  • The actual numbers of people in the game seem semi balanced to be fair. It fluxes a bit but like yesterday before I went to bed it was

    53% gaudi/glom/celest and 47% mag/seren/halli.

Thats just players online though including e…
  • Maybe just look at more events with fixed numbers if theres a big issue with numbers imbalance.

Like more wargame tournament type things.
  • Like my way of thinking on turning corpses to esteem is that any corpses I can convert to esteem is a lot.

Even if its at a crazy high loss.

Esteem is better than having corpses in many ways. It lasts longer so I can store it …
  • (Quote) Maybe remove converting corpses to esteem then if its going to cause these issues.

Its not something thats needed, its a nifty little thing you can do to save up esteem but its really not something thats needed.
  • If you make aoe and passives part of the diminishing returns it solves that issue,
  • Ya that's the point i was saying about.  Your suggestion encourages that which isn't really much difference to how we have it now and kinda won't make the numbers fight much of a difference.

Like we're talking about an example team of ei…
  • You may be over complicating it.

It's a team of 4 people hitting you with their prime attacks and 4 people hitting you with aoe vs a team of four people hitting you with their prime attacks right?

  • Sure it sounds like you maybe don't know the main uses behind the featherweight charm shango. Its main use isn't really for hit and run tactics as you describe.

The main strength of it is being used in groups to avoid kill set ups that th…
  • A four person monk team is as scary to fight as a four bard team to me. With a balanced team on my side I'd be much much more scared of a four monk team than a four bard team. Both are very potent right now. I'd be way more scared of an eight monk t…

    I wouldn't really call 13/13 casual level.

    Thats pretty buffed.

A better compare would be someone with about 7 empower and no mask.
  • That sounds alright
  • You mean like Purify only Esteem?
  • Since 2016. So that Included 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
  • Yea being able to engulf corpses at a loss is still an amazing way to generate esteem  as it is. I was even happy with how much esteem it generated before it got buffed.

  • This sort of idea has been raised a few times. It's always a bit tricky to look at.

I'm not really sure it'd change a whole lot of balance issues with groups.

Like eg if I had a group of 10 people vs a group of 5. All I'd do is…
  • I just had a look back over the war tournaments since 2016 and it looks like in the finalist rounds the majority of people in it had both noses and charms.
  • One small issue I have with making the corpses worth 100% is that it makes brazier bombing the best way to offer then.

You can store all your corpses up and only use it when you have full buffs to offer, even temp buffs like poteens and s…

I do recognise that the nose is a way more powerful artifact for group combat and I guess it is more common for people to buy it before the charm.
  • Have you tested it much since the bashing rework went through?

They buffed up the numbers on guardian bashing by a fair bit.
  • Thats not a bad idea.

We sort of do that anyway but in a more informal way. Using an alliance clan to help each other and newbies out etc.

Having a built in automatic alliance channel and an alliance newbie channel sounds prett…
  • They said it was too hard to make the ashop sell as gold.

Maybe just make the travel artis cost a really cheap amount of goop instead?

The nose and charm are fairly standard. Its rare not to find someone in pvp who has the nose at least.
  • Was thinking just a heal, no prism or anything.
  • The featherweight charm has become like the Nose. Its something that's become part of standard combat now days. I agree that a total free removal of all rooting is too much but being able to reduce your rooting is as much a part of standard combat a…
