  • You took me on my first domoth during your Gaudi stay, and didn't murder me when I attacked your tiger because it was the first unfamiliar thing I made out in all the spam. in Self Reflection...Years Gone By. Comment by Dys December 2013
  • How long has SPARWHO been a thing?

    Neat!
  • Astrology doesn't drift relative to Lusternia time and date. Mine doesn't anyway.
  • (Quote) I know what you mean but I'm pretty sure that's a trick of the brain. Humans are very good at spotting patterns. When we see several people looking for the same piece on the market and ads we notice. We don't see everyone who doesn't need …

  • I like a lot of those ideas, they don't seem over the top. Just decreasing the gold chance in favour of changing into another curio, and a small (5%?) chance of splitting into two curios would be neat. Something to help completing curios rather than…
  • Check out Fighting Fantasy, Lone Wolf, FireStar, etc. These books were popular in the 80s, with all kinds of variations.
  • That would make all curios effectively into two just types, common and rare. Everything else would just be a matter of keeping on rubbing.

(Except quest curios / others you can't get from rubs.)
  • A multiclass artifact sounds excellent for expanding the purchasing horizons for people who have everything. Guilds could require tithes, services or roleplay to maintain access. Could have one per archetype or have it upgradable.

  • Is the Aetherspace epic still broked? Not getting the message when you get all 8 honours.
  • Sharing tests:

I rubbed 67 common curios and 37 turned to gold (55%), 19 to same type (28%) and 11 to other curios (16%).

The 95% confidence interval for the gold rate is 49% to 61%. Average gold value was 3,800.

  • You'd get better gold bashing than rubbing curios, so that should be fine. Also need an out or you could keep rubbing any curio till you got what you wanted.
  • Yah, raging wheel spins were sad. Rubbing made transferring assets between gold, credits, dingbats and lessons fairly liquid.

With that fixed, could allow selling curio pieces again to help trading.

  • 80 on my phone, 100 on the computer. The rest of my gui is full of all sorts.
  • Yah, character neutralisers are a bit too good compared to other prop types. They stop all attack types, heals and stuns and often waste the oppenent's scene. Maybe increase power and cooldown rather than decrease effect, so they're useful but need …
  • I love Psychodrama, it's a neat idea and can be great fun. My favourite games are ones where you get a bit of back and forth rather than stun, 15 damage, 10 damage, dead.

Legendary characters are fine, just don't expect to use them more t…

  • Spread walkthroughs? I thought asking for hints or questions on specific parts on the forums was ok when you got stuck but distributing whole walkthroughs seems lame.
  • Who here, and gag the output?

  • I've got some of those but keep missing you. Maybe message or PM me with a few suggested times, I can log on with my phone most of GMT daytime.

But no, not in the traditional form.
  • Bacon/pizza/takeout is a great motivator.
  • I've had 4 small escapes and 5 captured, and 2 gigantic escapes and 1 capture. With no upgrades or golden bait. If it's close to a 50:50, 5 in a row isn't that uncommon.

  • (Quote) Gaudiguch is a city of individuals, so why ban someone just because they're from a featherbrained race? Same with illithoid, there are individuals who've grown beyond their race's harsh beginnings.

  • Ouch. That's probably still just being unlucky. If a small creature has a 18% chance to escape the lowest power trap, four in a row would be about 1 in 1000. We don't know what the actual chance is yet. Could be 20% or even higher. I've had one capt…
