Well that. In many cases you're going to wake yourself up one way or another before any other commands go through. Not many can really strip kafe on command anymore, so unless you're also aeon'd and have metawake off you wake as fast as your latency…
You can upgrade your normal robes or armor with aethersuit abilities via gears, and if you don't want the aetherspace upgrades this is DRAMATICALLY cheaper. You skip both the entrance cost AND the tier 1 ability costs.
And sleep is a DRAMATICALLY tighter window than stunning, with the standard stun time sitting at 2s and the standard wake-from-sleep time being sub .2s.
It's a pain to swap to possessing a particular npc and junk too. By the time you're sure you're in the right one, people leave. I imagine that's a thing even with a lot of practice !
Cool! Emotes seem like they're pretty straightforwards to implement (once the underlying group infrastructure is in place), they're unobtrusive, and if well done they can really help to foster Ic cultural identity.
Please no more curios, certainly not until (planned, I think?) updates to trading and selling curio pieces. It's just too damn hard to randomly get the pieces you need and the more different curios and curio sets there are, the harder it is to find …
It's worth noting that there isn't a functional tax on gold in the organizational sense. That 2% of gold isn't taken out of the game, it goes into national coffers when the steward or leader runs a command. It's basically a set national tax.
Fufufufufu. I specifically asked dain to move. For real though, outside of guild loyalty, dain is the only seren mortal NBC who was exempted from the memory spell of the civil war (?) so its pretty important to keep him around in some capacity, thou…
If the idea is to make meld effects more like bardsongs, the most obvious next step of changes is to make melds dramatically more mobile and easy to re-raise/tote around, like bard songs. Instead of all the restrictions of bardsongs for marginally …
Going to be very busy until wed. evening at earliest. Going to log in to do some ministry stuff real quick, but that's about it. Can answer messages and so on, or complete direct tasks, but won't be around for anything else.
In a general way, I agree: None of the trades should have particularly powerful combat effects, not on the order of mandatory splendors. That does make some of the trades like... dead useless and overpriced, but that's a different problem to be tack…
The only other passive shield effect is also pretty disgustingly strong, but at least it requires that the user(s) make themselves vulnerable by not keeping up deafness, has an opportunity cost of a stanza, and requires…
Yeah, most of the trades are pretty bad. Tailoring is in a bad place because a) armor outperforms robes for most people, and b) Most people don't wear anything besides armor/robes and shoes because of the clothing system. B might be changing, there …
I have a better one! It's called "Forums Bury". It works like the one you've posted, but instead of totally silencing the listed posters, it acts as if they're received a…
My anecdotal opinion conforms to the general outlines of what's been said before. It seems like monks are getting to be big damage dealers that also deal a big bulk of afflictions that also deal high prio afflictions that also do lots of general hin…
