Hey, guys, let's not be confrontational with someone who just started.
I can tell you there is almost zero chance of getting a second anomaly for non-combat issues (or any issue actually). It's absurd to demand assurances for impart…
Right, I meant more mechanical things we can set up (like fishing or whatever). There won't always be admin around to run "events" and often admin are dissuaded from running roleplay-type events (an admin sent me some thoughts on this after reading …
Can you give me examples of "stuff to do"? Keep in mind we've got a lot of blowback when you "have" to do something (then it's a big grind and we get complaints that the quest or whatnot is 'griefing' a city or commune). Also note in Lusternia Activity LevelsComment by EstarraOctober 2018
I hear you regarding this month's quest; others have said similar. But I will note that killing them does have an impact, the more that are killed, the better the weather becomes which was supposed to offer some incentive, both RP and mechanical (re…
Orael has planned to post something about the goals he has for coding projects. I believe he will also elaborate on what's replacing the envoy reports, which will be player reports and player voting on them to see which ones players want. …
If you want to work up a proposal of an interdependent resource system that could work for Lusternia (doesn't have to be detailed), I'd be more than interested in looking at it. BTW, you don't have to do that if you don't have time or interest or wh…
You guys have given me a lot to think about regarding comm mining mechanics. I admit my opinion was more from an admin perspective than a player perspective (and granted none of you would have heard the admin gripes) as well as player feedback about…
@Rivius - I think we are in free fall in finding a model for a good economy. But I am open to ideas or formats if anyone has any. You can search these forums for t…
Er, you honestly think no one is complaining about combat, wonder items, hallifax skills, mage update, etc., etc.? Yes, maybe on this thread, several of you are bringing up economy but, please, let's check ourselves on the hyperbole.
Anyway, I believe the best focus for Orael's time would be on combat which is his expertise. Again, if there are economy tweaks that I can do, I will. I did have an idea of crafted items having a 'value' (not gold value just general value) that coul…
We did reduce gold drops! Wasn't there blowback from crafters about increasing comm requirements? Anyway, if that's all that's on the table for economy, we can certainly do those things (reduce gold drops more and increase comms for crafting).

I'd love to do an economy rework but I think focus on combat is more important right now. Also, no one seems to know exactly best way to approach economy and every time we open up an ideas thread on it, opinions seem to really clash. …

We'll probably review what happened this year with events. We generally run a year long storyline and some years are more successful than others (Goloths? Dream Gods? Lovers?). Anyway, thanks for the ideas and input!

Again, EVERY game in IRE is mandated to do monthly promos, so we're all coming up with new artifacts on a regular basis. It's not like there's a choice between rewriting a new skillset and making an artifact. I really don't think it's…
Oi! Was answering Shaddus and didn't see all the other responses!
We can't hire more people unfortunately. That just isn't an option. Projects take time to do, and while I would love to address everything at once, we have to tackle thing…
I value your opinion, Shaddus! At least, I always (usually?)
enjoy interacting with you. Some of the things you mention
(momsrock/dadsrock/ironbeard) are IRE controlled, but we can try to do more of
the other events. Regarding lepr…
I don't actually have much control over advertising, though I think I did look into Critical Role at one time and they were cost prohibitive. @Xenthos - feel free…
Just wanted to chime in that I've been watching this thread as player retention and growth are both issues I'm very concerned about. If you want to share your thoughts with me, either publicly or privately, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts…
Sorry! I think the value is actual similar to a gem eve if it's not a whole thing... I have a feeling people who are collecting will be interested in pieces of those who aren't.
By limited availability, we usually mean artifacts only available for like auctions or special promotions. Fins/horns may be a good idea--but I imagine people wouldn't want them limited!
