I think this is an interesting discussion, though I urge everyone to try to be as diplomatic as possible since players rightfully have strong, passionate opinions when it comes to PK conflict. A little empathy goes a long way!
Yeah, I would like to say there is nothing apparently detrimental to the threads that should raise alarms. You remove them because you find them aesthetically displeasing (or are paranoid which is fair enough).
Okay guys, we've dramatically reduced how often threads will appear in player orgs so once you clear them you won't have to worry about "constant upkeep" of threads in your orgs. This means for the daily quest, you may have to find the wild threads …
We'll look into making the quest easier/less onerous--but fyi, this is also an important RP event that would happen with our without a daily quest ... and that's all I'll say!
FYI, thread growth has slowed down so it shouldn't be as hard to break them apart. If it appears unreasonable to do this quest 21 days in a row, we'll look further into it -- but it helps working in groups (just saying!).
Unfortunately, these are the only two concept art pieces we were able to get (and afford). Mostly, it was because Magnagora and Celest had the least detailed treatment of the city/commune website art (it was just a singular picture of the Pool of St…
BTW, if you bought gearboxes of a certain damage type not knowing you could stack gearboxes with the same damage type, issue yourself with the replica numbers and I'll give a full refund.
Thanks for all the feedback! New gnome weapon ideas (owl?!) are welcome. We can look at an alternate verb besides ACTIVATE (no promises) but suggestions welcome there as well. I'm uncertain about the unblockable damage idea and would rathe…
Well, I guess the question is what you do need to spend 50k gold on? If it is easy to generate 50k gold in an hour without much effort, what do you do with all that gold?
Oh, the economy! We could take off the next year to devote to the economy but that really isn't feasible. I agree tweaks to help goldflation should be looked at, but I also think it would necessarily need to be incremental. I am to blame for the lac…

A quest kickstarter! I think that's a fabulous idea but there's more work involved than you may imagine. (I've seen areas and quests take a year or more to complete.) But it's a very neat idea and maybe more doable for other aspects of the…

Thanks so much for saying this! I've always wanted to make sure quests are involved, lore based and not just where you go to "bash" (though granted some areas better for xp bashing than others, but there's still a story behind them). Orrer…
Just out of curiosity, does anyone use nexus guardians? They were meant to be the answer for those to help defend against raids without needing any PVP skills. You basically get to control the guardian, a beefy mob, to track down and destroy intrude…
@Asarian Volunteers/gods are usually not coders. There are exceptions when a volunteer requests to code, but that is certainly not the rule. All gods do need to k…
@saran You're right it's not your job to come up with fixes for anything that is (allegedly) broken in the game, but if you have a particular concern, even if you d…
@Ejderha Wow, that's a lot to unload! Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to get more resources, and foregoing monthly promotions means we'd have even less…
Thanks! Raezon's help file is updated. I don't really see anything in Morgfyre's.
In my mind, the draining mechanic is what is the true disincentive for a divine to take followers not aligned to their city/commune. Honestly, if a divine a…
What we really want is to discourage players to follow gods and not be in their cities and communes. I completely understand why some may not want to; but again, the goal is to make that the rare exception rather than the rule.
I don't recall what Xenthos suggested, but Affinity is a very tricky. Gods should not (as a rule) have followers outside of their organizations for reasons I've gone over before. Therefore, any changes should still discourage gods from having 'rogue…
