  • I find that I rarely have an issue if I can manage to get out of immediate danger-- for instance, if the banner carrier dies during an astral hunt and I can manage to fly out. Also, you're right, Healing is amazing. Once my regen has a chance to wor…

  • There's a difference, I would postulate, between being able to cure out, and being able to soak damage. We can totally do the first one. The second one? Meh.
  • It's true, we are ridics squishy. WTB old diamond back. :(
  • Just going to go ahead and say that whenever anyone mentions the Dark Heart, I now immediately begin singing Dark Horse by Katy Perry to myself.

  • So, one thing I wouldn't mind being able to see is an echo for essence changes, like the existing ones for health/mana/ego changes. Is that something I could add relatively easily on top of the existing framework?

  • I listen to the Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magic Obscura soundtrack a lot. It's just beautifully Victorian and makes me think of Hallifax, what with the themes of the fusion of magic and technology. Here's a couple of good examples:

I will have you know that Jadice has been my flavor of the week for months!
  • I would like to state for the record that Maellio did, in fact, receive pastries. After all, they were terribly suspicious and required immediate analysis by an expert.
  • Jadice gives a bright green pickle-shaped cup cake to you.

Jadice, the Frost Queen says, "Ileein, take this and all the cakes here and sort them as you feel
appropriate. Store them against future need."
  • Daraius is talking about his (quite entertaining) year in review posts, the most recent one of which involved reporting on the Muckle flare, yeah. The immediate past flares haven't been reviewed yet!
  • Jadice baptises you into the Auspices of Winter of the Divine Order of Jadice, the Frost Queen.

Even bigger rave than the last, if such a thing is possible.

  • I'd say a major part of the problem is that "80-100" is a much more dramatic spectrum than "1-20." 80 is just not comparable to 95 or 100.
  • Yeah, the 17-year-olds in Lirangsha and past Climanti drive me right up the wall. I've started just influencing around them, even though I feel really bad about it, but I'm at 99 and 75%. I'm getting demi, politeness be damned.

  • Yup. From what I understand, though, from having seen it asked for elsewhere, there simply is no ignore-user module for our version of the Vanilla software, and paying for one to be developed would be way more expensive than it's worth.

  • Hey, don't blame Hallifax for being passionless, that's just Ileein! Though I still rather suspect that was a foregone conclusion, so we really just wanted to make a decent showing.

I think maybe you're expecting a bit much for Lusternia's playerbase, don't you?
  • I'd speculate because this is raves, and if a conversation takes on a life of its own beyond that, it might deserve its own thread rather than distracting from the point of this one.
