The very first IRE archetype I played was a paladin, and my first love in fantasy genre games and muds was being a knight. If I can't play an assassin type, I'd be a sword-and-board paladin. Too bad there's no real viable sword/shield set up here.

Obviously, I wasn't around (damn, Ascension has started already, huh) but from reading the responses, I've pieced together a rough idea of what happened. However, I'm curious to hear a bit more about the two factors that went into the…
I have two pvp beasts, and a third, bashing beast that can be hot-rigged to be pvp ready (at a slightly sub-optimal setup) using Beastmaster. Killing my beast, in combat or out of it, is hardly going to make much of a difference, and will only reall…
I'm also in the camp of preferring baby sacrifices (not that I play nowadays). As for the subject of providing an alternative... it doesn't hurt, yes, but it tends to open a bag of worms that if it were up to me, I would personally want to just avoi…
So, it's the new year vacation period, and I have some time to dick around, so I thought I'd check out the forums, and this thread caught my attention, because herbs was my favourite trade skill up until the first day I learned and tried to harvest …
Mmm, that sounds a lot harder to use than I first envisioned. What about moodflux and eccentricflux? Do they just keep blocking affs until you're out of flow?
Flow control seems fairly difficult like this, and toggling things on and off c…
Hrm? So it's on a tick basis, where every few seconds it draws the flow cost to maintain the effect throughout? Mmm, that works the same, I guess. I assume switching off fluxes don't cost balance, at least?
On first glance, there're plenty of abilities in there where the chaotic version is pretty much pointless, and the harmonic one is the only real choice (eg. hiddenflux, adaptiveflux, esotericflux). The trans a…
Monk skill choices aren't too bad, actually. Basically psymet vs acro. I guess compared to the other classes, it can get a little dull - though warriors are sort of in the same boat (totems or tracking).
Technically, the concept of blocking terraining is in itself not neccesarily a bad thing - it's not even new. The entire point of melds revolves around this concept.
However, implementing it outside of the status quo should probably have …
So, nine years after the third season finished, they've gone and started a new season of Jigoku Shoujo. Currently binge watching the old, but gold, original seasons alongside the new episodes. Ahh, nostalgia.
The idea is that artifact sales from the website are cheaper than their credit equivalents (they don't usually have a 30% sale AND an artifact sale at the same time).
So if you want to upgrade an artie you already have while an artie sale…
Particles can still be sold, I think, for gold. I'm not sure if it's used as a special currency to buy items from the gnome trader that takes them - I never did look into that part. It could have changed since I last knew.
Interesting. I'm actually thinking of using 0 value tasks for optional tasks instead, but using it for formatting is something that didn't cross my mind, and which could be useful!
To be completely technical, because there's a 1/3 health/mana regen in the level 50 perk for Elfen/Faeling, they could be providing the same health regen as Lobos! (Though in only specific circumstances).
Pretty sure Viscanti breath has been changed - it's no longer asthma and is instead sickness. At least, according to changelog 793, that's the case. Still decent, of course.
The races listed here give benefits that are more generalistic t…
So as the season is wrapping up and I'm finishing up the shows I've been following, I decided to also go back and clear up some shows that I'd shelved in the past.
Plastic Memories is as good as I thought it would be when it first came ou…
I think it was only coded for the original curio powers (magic item, damage enhancement, damage resistance and terrain movement). The newer ones, like the poteen etc, probably don't show up in it.
