Day changes are definitely not exatly one hour. I think they change every hour plus a few seconds, but it's very systematic (midnight is always drifting backwards every RL day).

I am psyched about all of these ideas, but these seem....really good. With the current numbers, I think I could get a couple goop a day just from farming my ur'traps. While this would be extremely beneficial to me, I'd imagine …
I think the goal is to make things that 1) people want, 2) demand constant upkeep - most one time purchases won't pull a lot of the gold out of the economy (unless you're Arimisia, spending 100 million on a ship, but she is probably a significant ou…

Seconded on wanting these numbers, or at least wanting to know if these numbers exist and were looked at. My impression is actually the opposite, but then again I don't have any maps and my present count is rather low, so I'm rather ignora…

I easily hit 50k on a weekend day that I'm playing without cookies. If I were actually making an effort to get gold on weekdays, I would also hit the cap without cookies. If the numbers are of the order of magnitude that Falmiis' (Falmiis'…
It might be useful to consider why we want to stop inflation. I think most of us (myself included) think that doing so would be a good thing, but why is that?
I don't think that newbies not being able to purchase their necessities is it. …
I've gotta say I'm pretty unhappy about this, because it feels like a big nerf to "players like me." I have a bunch of thoughts, some of which may be wrong:
1. My desert Ur'traps are now only worth the coins they occasionally spit out.
-typecast Syntax: TYPECAST LIST - lists your available typecasts TYPECAST LIST PREMIUM - lists premium typecasts you may purchase TYPECAST PURCHASE - purchase a premium typecast (10cr)…
Not likely in this case, I think. It's the dark side of the Kryden Valik quest, in the temple. AFAIK, there's 8 rooms with possible item locations (11 things you could touch/turn/probe etc.), and a bunch of mobs to influence with charity.
Is there any way to tell whether a quest has been changed? I previously completed it a healthy number of times, and never had any trouble finding all of the items. Now, I seem to be consistently missing one (well, today was the second time this has …
Ah I misunderstood the idea. That is much better. It is still quite powerful though, and gives non-afk people an incentive to sit in their manse (rather than at their nexus) which I don't think is optimal.

I like the concept, but it would be real easy to game, and you could essentially get all 8 blessings: just make sure they all tick at the same time, and return to your manse for 2 minutes every hour.
What are the chances of getting gold when rubbing a curio? Does it depend on whether it's a rare or not? Does it depend on whether it's a quest curio or not?
I scanned through some old posts, looks like it was ~15%, then it increased dram…

To be fair, the circumstances were out of the ordinary. Someone was selling crystals for credits at well under market rates, so credit demand spiked (as Falmiis suggested). While credit prices have been pretty high for the past week …
I've recently been having some trouble with the riding defence. In particular, I'd like to be able to be mounted, but not have the system try to mount if I get knocked off.
Right now, it seems like I have two options: if I'm kee…
I definitely had access to some kind of trash chute, but it was a single room that only seemed to have an exit back to the area I had been trapped in before. Was there simply some syntax I was missing?
Is it intentional that one can get trapped in the spaceship on Mucklemarsh? This happened without any warning, and I had to ascend out (fortunately someone was around with a Bubblix to get me back to my ship). Note that this happened without the war…

You're right - I read the original post several days ago, and since forgot that you had proposed it, my bad. In any case I obviously think it's a good idea.

A confirmation for those who care: darkbeer gives 1/5 universal for all levels of drunkenness out to "entirely inebriated". Still don't know if this is a bug or a feature.
